Hello everyone! I wanted to put out a formal post here on my page to announce that Bates Massage and Bodywork is relocating.
The Lord has had other plans in store for me and my family, and we are no longer local to Tennessee.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and recommended me to your family, friends, coworkers , and everything in between. It was an honor to practice in Shelbyville and I am looking forward to the next steps.

I loved receiving my continued education from Ms. Pamela Guildi. This woman taught my certification class and although it was a quick 4 days, there was so much valuable information I took home with me.
If you are a pregnant woman local to Shelbyville, TN - I highly recommend booking with me!
Let’s start treating the ligaments and muscles and training them to relax for a more comfortable labor.

I know some of you are curious and love seeing before and afters of how spaces become something fabulous, so I figured I would share a bit of how we got to where we are today!
Starting with the carpet! When I originally found this space, the carpets looked okay but could use a cleaning. The company that came in to do the service left the carpets worse than before they came 😫
This gave some truth to the phrase, “want it done right, you gotta do it yourself”, and yall know me! High standards is my middle name. So I got to work. Below are some before and after of what our hallway was looking like.

Now that we have an official space, what do yall think of a meditation enhancement?

20-30 minutes of time either before or after your massage session, providing a guided meditation session with an audio you can listen to, or you may freestyle if that’s more your thing.
I know there are so many people who have no where they can simply relax and have a moment of silence to themselves, lets change that!

I took my very first CE class with these wonderful ladies last week, and taking another today 😎 I just received my license in the mail and I am so excited to share with you all!!! It’s officially, official ! ☺️ More to come soon, but I won’t announce anything just yet 🤫
