On Wednesday, we honored National Glamourous Grandma Day, but you know we had to include our Handsome Grandfather's too!
We all had a blast dressing up, putting on make-up and taking our glamour shots! So many radiant smiles, and beautiful faces!
We would like to say a special thank you to Kasie Sanderson with NHC Lewisburg for coming by, and assisting us in glamming our residents! We would also like to express our gratitude towards Trena Cook for always taking care of our styling needs, and Jennifer Sudberry for also supplying us with some of her Bomb Party jewelry for the ladies to wear! We're feeling extremely lucky today here on National Lottery Day! 💰 🤑
Dolly Parton 🐾 stopped by for a visit greeting everyone with the perfect smile to entice some good ear rubs, and love!
Mr David, and Mrs Rita Davis came by, and donated an abundance of goodies for Bingo prizes for the residents. You both are greatly appreciated! We hit the JACKPOT on squash in our garden, which got served today with lunch. The residents at The Heart Remembers played Slot Lotto this afternoon. We can't say for certain who had the best spinning arm as several won the jackpot!
We have certainly had a great day despite the heat! We hope you all had a great day as well, and feel just as lucky as we do!

We would like to extend our appreciation to The Chriesman family for hosting an ice cream social for our residents while surprising Ms. Chriesman. The residents enjoyed this delicious treat, as there was Vanilla Ice Cream from Nash Family Creamery, with every topping imaginable, from bananas, pineapples, strawberries, cherries, nuts, sprinkles,chocolate chips, whipped topping as well as chocolate,strawberry, and caramel syrup!
We are so glad we could be apart of the surprise ❤️

Carriage House Inn would like to express our gratitude towards the members of Senior Choir, and to Mrs. Joan for coming out to lead Bible Study for us on Tuesday. Those events sparked our day! Following up that afternoon the residents at The Heart Remembers enjoyed painting, while the residents at Carriage House honored National Give It Away Day, with their very own Swap and Shop! The residents were encouraged to find things laying around in their apartments that they weren't using or were going to throw away and bring them to the table! They all equally enjoyed this and some even left with new found treasures!
