The residents at Carriage House Inn would like to express their gratitude towards Fair Haven Baptist Church for coming out and leading us in Bible Study this evening. The resident thoroughly enjoyed it, and you all's company!
Over at The Heart Remembers the residents engaged in making paper mosaic hearts, while in the mood for singing along to some songs of love!

It has been a great start to the week here at Carriage House Inn. Amy Jones of Adoration Home Health came by on Monday afternoon and sponsored our afternoon bingo. Thank you, Amy, for always taking great care of us!
Today the residents engaged in Bible Study with Ms. Joan, and later enjoyed Joking with Jeff Scantland. Who put on a great comedy show for the residents!
The residents at The Heart Remembers started their day with Walking Club, and this afternoon engaged in Left,Right, Center with a Valentines Twist!

It may be cold outside, but here at Carriage House Inn and The Heart Remembers our hearts are warm, and filled with love. As we're casting votes for our porch geese, Ms. Connor decided we needed just a little ✨something ✨as she add some jewelry to make our un-named friend feel more at home.
Today the residents at Carriage House enjoyed manicures with Mary Ellen, and over at The Heart Remembers the residents engaged in Yahtzee, later switching it up to UNO, and then enjoying Ms. Alex Bradfords beautiful voice as she sang for us this afternoon.
On Tuesday the residents enjoyed some delicious birthday cake brought to us by Diana Nunley of Compassus Hospice for our residents monthly birthday celebration! We thank you, Diana, for always taking care of our special birthday needs. ❤️

On Thursday the residents at Carriage House Inn enjoyed the company of Matt Bruzdowski for Karaoke, meanwhile the residents at The Heart Remembers engaged in a competitive game of Bucket Ball.

On Friday the residents at both Carriage House Inn and The Heart Remembers beat the snow with an indoor snowball fight. The residents and staff had so much fun we almost forgot the real snow was coming. ❄️

Just before the winter storm decided to roll in, two smart girl geese came flying out of the gray sky and gently landed right on the porch of Carriage House Inn and The Heart Remembers

They shook off the cold, looked around, and clearly thought,
“Yep. This looks safe. And warm. And friendly.”

One goose immediately took on the role of storm lookout, standing tall in Carriage House lobby and watching the clouds like she was in charge of weather updates.
The other settled in at The Heart Remembers like she’d been invited, waddling close to the chairs as if she knew this was the best place to wait out a snowstorm.

We think these geese didn’t land here by accident.
They chose us because they knew they’d find:
Shelter from the storm, warm hearts and warm coffee, and plenty of folks happy to welcome them in from the cold.

Now our two winter-wise porch geese have decided to stay … but there’s just one thing they still need.

✨ Names! ✨

And since they picked our community as their winter hideaway, they are asking our Residents, Staff and Families to help choosing what to be called!

To say we're blessed is an understatement. On Tuesday the residents at Carriage House Inn and The Heart Remembers enjoyed Senior Choir coming by to start our day, that afternoon we also had Bible Study with Ms. Joan. Over at The Heart Remembers that afternoon the residents engaged in Bingo!

On Wednesday the residents at Carriage House Inn engaged in Confetti Balloon Badminton 🏸, and had a BALLoon. 😀
The residents at The Heart Remembers enjoyed singing along to all the good tunes with Matt Bruzdowski who came for Karaoke. 🎤
We thank you all so much for everything you do for us here at Carriage House Inn and The Heart Remembers 💜 ❤️✨
