Amber Rawlings and Chris Banta are the Men's and Women's Directors at Awake Ministries. Last week, they represented Awake at the ASW conference in Frankfort, making connections for the future.

Kentucky has 53 Alternative Sentencing Workers (ASWs). They connect people in the court system who struggle with addiction and/or mental health to treatment instead of incarceration on a case-by-case basis. We’re thankful for their partnership!

Good news! Awake was the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Shelby County Community Foundation! We are so grateful for the work that they do to enrich the quality of life of the people in Shelby County by supporting the work of non profits like us.

It’s a special night at CR this Sunday! We are celebrating the graduations of Victoria and Kim, the first two grads from the Phase 2 program! Come join us in recognizing them as they take their next steps forward!

God has been at work not only in them, but through them as well. They’ve been caring for people in the community and sharing their stories. On Wednesday this week they spoke and prayed with the FCA group at the Paddock!
