Knowing the warning signs of relationship abuse can help protect yourself and others. Abuse is often about power and control, and it can include behaviors like extreme jealousy, checking your phone without permission, isolating you from friends and family, putting you down, or trying to control your actions. Abuse can also involve threats, pressure, or physical harm. These behaviors may start small but often escalate over time. Healthy relationships are built on respect, trust, and support, and everyone deserves to feel safe and valued. If something feels wrong, it is important to trust your instincts and seek support.

Important Update on Naloxone Distribution in Illinois!!

The State of Illinois is transitioning from brand name Narcan to a generic 4 mg naloxone nasal spray produced by Padagis.

Here’s what you need to know:
- It contains the same 4 mg dose of naloxone
- It works the same way
- It is administered the same way (nasal spray)
- It is equally safe and effective

The only difference is the branding and packaging.
This change allows Illinois to stretch funding further and increase access to this life-saving medication across our communities.

Carry Naloxone, save a lifeπŸ’œ

If any individual, agency, organization or establishment would like a Naloxone training please reach out to Landriah Hardiek landriahh@hourhouserecovery.org OR 217-254-4826! ✨
