This week, we hosted a special Back-to-School Bash for our amazing staff and their children. Each child received a backpack filled with school supplies to start the year off right!

We loved celebrating our team and helping their families gear up for a great school year. ❤️

Oh Baby! 👶🍼

Yesterday, our residents pulled off the sweetest surprise — a baby shower for our amazing Activities Director, Gabriela Trejo!

Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without an activity, so everyone got to work creating custom bibs and bodysuits for the little one.

We can’t wait to welcome the next generation to The Waters and meet you, baby girl! 💕

Please join us in congratulating our , Andria Johnson!

Andria has been the resident and staff "Go To" CNA since she became a team member at The Waters in June 2023. Andria has been a wealth of knowledge for all departments from Nursing to the Administrative team. She is reliable, loyal, has a great and positive attitude, and is always a stellar example of what quality compassionate care looks like. She goes above and beyond everyday to ensure that everyone has what is needed to be successful. If ever there is a question that Andria can't answer she will go out of her way to get you a response. So, the next time you see Andria, give her a big “Thank You” or a High Five just for being the Awesome Team Player that she is!

We love giving back! 💙

On Friday, The Waters of Shelbyville teamed up with our friends at Rosenwald Community Center to help serve a warm, comforting meal of meatloaf, white beans, squash casserole, and macaroni & cheese at the Shelbyville Community Soup Kitchen.
