Happy New Year everyone!
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a great start to the year so far!

I am getting back into the swing of things again after my surgery and am slowly getting around to contacting people again. If you see this and would like to reach out to me first, by all means, please do so! Hope to see you all soon!

3 week post-op update:
It truly has looked worse than it feels! I'm SO thankful to have very minimal/ manageable pain!
Only pain that I've had to complain about is some bad muscle pain, as I'm sure it's from nerves being set free and now I also complain of being sore after sitting around for 2.5 weeks and then suddenly working (part-time) again.
My voice is still MIA. I constantly have to repeat myself (even more than usual 🙄😂). I do, however, sound better than I did right after surgery. I have to sip on drinks, otherwise I end up choking on whatever it is I'm drinking and spit it everywhere. I also occasionally send myself into a coughing fit due to crud getting stuck in my throat yet. This is all due to the surgeon going in the front and shoving everything over to get to my spine. They prefer to do surgery this way if the patient is OK with it being it is a much easier recovery because they aren't having to cut through any muscle.
Anyway, I'm doing pretty well considering how big of a surgery it was. I have been SO very grateful for those that have brought food, sent their thoughts/ prayers and have checked in! No small gesture has gone unnoticed!
Oh! I also forgot to add that this surgery has so far been worth it!! I don't have the grinding and pain in my neck anymore or any numbness/ tingling through my right arm that I was having! My range of motion is limited yet and I'm still under certain restrictions but I am so thankful to have doctors that listened and a surgeon that specializes in this!

I am officially less than 4 weeks out from my surgery! If you haven't been into the office lately, I am having surgery on my neck.

Anyways, there is now someone joining me in my Valley City office who will be using the space while I am not here.

Her name is Peggy and she does Reiki. She is taking clients now and will hopefully have her website up and going soon where you will be able to book directly on there. I will share that when she has it going. In the meantime, give her a call and give it a try while I am off recovering. Her number is (701) 739-7194.

Reiki isn't the same as massage as it is not hands on but it does work with the energy to restore physical and emotional well-being.

The women served freewill offering meals at the Off the Rails Bar and Grill in Sheldon. The owner of bars in Enderlin, Buffalo, Kathryn and Valley City also served free meals to first responders.

Our community was deeply effected by last night's storm! Unfortunately there was fatalities, livestock lost, houses and out buildings completey gone and so on.

As a business, I have the outreach to help these families with any financial burdens that will come with this.

To all my amazing clients:

It has become clear to me just how much time for myself and my family I have been sacrificing to be available to provide services to as many of you as possible as I truly enjoy what I do.
I have been starting to diminish my evenings little by little and by mid to end of June, I plan to have little to no evenings of clients so that I can be home with my family more, doing things we as a family enjoy together.
Please understand this change is hard for me because like I said, I love this career. However, I love my family more and need to be able to spend more time with them than just the weekends.
I understand the inconvenience this may be for some of you, but I hope we will still see each other!
