What better way to begin Assisted Living Week than by celebrating our September Aspire Champions! Joyce was nominated by staff saying, "Joyce is on of the most caring ladies I know. She always has a smile and is always positive." Sara, nominated by a fellow staff member was acknowledged for her hard work and dedication saying "Sara is very reliable, always at her shifts. Sara has picked up many times, including many double shifts. She is always willing to pick up different shifts." Today, a group of ladies took a trip to see Hawkeye Point, the highest point in Iowa!

Did you know: 🌟At 1670 ft above sea level, Hawkeye Point holds the title for the highest point in Iowa and can be found in northwest Iowa! In contrast, the lowest point in the state is situated in the southeast corner along the Mississippi River at 480 ft.

Today, we said Farewell to the Summer Sun at our Manager's Reception - a cozy monthly gathering organized by the management team complete with beverages and light bites. This event offers managers an opportunity to interact with residents and allows residents to mingle amongst themselves. This month, guests enjoyed either classic vodka lemonade or a flavored version of their choice, paired with trail mix for a delightful treat.
