TURKEY THAWING TIPS 🦃

If you’re thawing your turkey in the fridge here’s what you need to plan for:
• 4–12 lbs: 1–3 days
• 12–16 lbs: 3–4 days
• 16–20 lbs: 4–5 days
• 20–24 lbs: 5–6 days

Keep it in the original packaging on a tray and tucked into the coldest part of your fridge (under 40°F).

Need it faster? Use the cold-water method: keep the wrapped turkey fully submerged in cold water and change the water every 30 minutes.
⏱️ 30 minutes per pound (so a 16 lb turkey = about 8 hours)

Join us by donating to the Heart 2 Hand Food Bank and drop off canned goods to our building! We know that there are many out within our community who are struggling, and we want to help! Donations are being accepted between now and November 30th.

We are celebrating National Assisted Living Week and had the pleasure of spending time with our Administrator, Kayla Higgins. It is always a delight to visit this facility. We were impressed by the significant growth of their garden. Interacting with Kayla, her team, and the residents has been a truly enjoyable experience.
