Butler Rescue Hands, Inc

Butler Rescue Hands, Inc Each veteran has served this country with courage and commitment, so it is only fitting to provide Now, Butler Rescue Hands, Inc.

Our founder, Garrett Butler, started Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. when he saw the increasing need for non-medical home care and resources for veterans. As a veteran himself, he made sure to keep his promise to his fellow veterans, "helping others find their way home" by opening an organization to cater to the veterans. is committed to giving back to our veterans needing the care they deserve and sometimes need to be made aware of how to obtain them. We make sure to partner and familiarize our team with different resources to cater to the needs of each veteran as much as we can. However, as a non-government organization, we may need more resources to fuel our passion for serving. Even so, this does not stop us from supporting veterans at risk of homelessness or needing a home where they can receive care. We seek to help one veteran at a time to improve the quality of their life and live a fulfilling life in the comfort of their own home, and for those that need a place they can call their own, we assist them with housing alternatives.

Why Ongoing Training Matters in Home Care

Home care is an ever-evolving field. To meet the unique needs of our clients—especially those supported under DDS and ABI programs, our staff undergo continuous training and professional development.

Our monthly in-service trainings are designed to strengthen caregiver skills, introduce best practices, and ensure compliance with state guidelines. Topics may include:

Safe transfer techniques and fall prevention

Communication skills for clients with memory loss or speech impairments

Best practices for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

Strategies for independence in clients living with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)

By investing in our staff, we’re investing in our clients. Ongoing training ensures that every caregiver has the knowledge and confidence to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.

The Importance of Compassionate Care in the Home

At Butler Rescue Hands, Inc., we believe care is more than just assistance with daily tasks, it’s about treating every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion.

When clients invite us into their homes, they’re trusting us with something deeply personal: their independence and their quality of life. That’s why our caregivers are trained not only in practical care tasks like bathing, dressing, and mobility support, but also in how to listen, connect, and understand the person behind the care plan.

We know that small acts of kindness, like sharing a laugh, engaging in a favorite activity, or simply taking the time to listen, can make a big difference in someone’s day. That is the true meaning of compassionate care, and it’s what drives us forward every day.

💙 At Butler Rescue Hands, Inc., compassionate care is not just a service, it’s a calling.
