Specialized Services for ABI Clients: Building Independence and Confidence
Living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) often brings new challenges—not only for the individual, but also for their families. At Butler Rescue Hands, Inc., we provide specialized ABI services to support recovery, adaptation, and independence.
Our ABI-trained staff offer:
Independent Living Skills Training (ILST): Helping clients rebuild essential daily living skills such as meal preparation, budgeting, and personal organization.
Recovery Assistant Services (RA I & II): Providing hands-on support, encouragement, and structure for clients as they adapt to changes in their cognitive, emotional, or physical abilities.
Community Integration: Encouraging participation in community activities, volunteer work, and social opportunities to build confidence and reduce isolation.
Our goal is not only to support day-to-day living, but also to help ABI clients reclaim independence and rediscover a sense of purpose.
