We’re excited to announce that Brightview Joy’s Farm has officially broken ground in Paramus, New Jersey! Joy’s Farm will mark the 11th Brightview community in the Garden State.

This new community will bring Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care to the region, along with thoughtfully designed amenities and vibrant spaces for residents to thrive.
Once complete, Brightview Joy’s Farm will offer 170 luxury apartment homes along with stunning community amenities such as a movie theater, pub, health and wellness spa, game room, outdoor dining, and more!

We’re proud to continue growing in Northern New Jersey and look forward to welcoming residents in late 2026.

We may be biased, but we truly believe we have the best residents in the world.

At Brightview North Andover in Massachusetts, resident Mary Todd recently wrote and published a powerful book chronicling her husband Jim’s journey with Alzheimer’s. The book, which lists Jim as a co-author, weaves in real conversations between the couple as Mary set out to be “emotionally honest” in sharing their experience.

It’s an intimate, brave, and beautifully written account of love, loss, and resilience. From July 7–11, Brightview communities across Baltimore and Annapolis welcomed the Avila Art Makers Exhibits and Artist Talks, a heartfelt program with Avila Home Care that brought powerful works of art and live artist conversations directly to our residents.

Our Garden Club has been busy planting, watering, and nurturing our community garden and their hard work is truly blooming! This week, residents and associates enjoyed a fabulous brunch outing at Pier131shelton a local Shelton gem known for serving up AMAZING brunch every day of the week! From fluffy pancakes to savory omelets and everything in between, there was something delicious for everyone.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for our wine tasting trip to Stappa Vineyard in Milford, CT! Residents soaked up the sunshine while enjoying a delightful selection of wines and a delicious packed lunch, thoughtfully prepared by our talented dining team.

This week, our very own Vibrant Living team member Maya treated residents to a fascinating presentation all about her recent trip to Japan! From beautiful photos to fun cultural insights, Maya had everyone captivated with her storytelling and passion for learning.

One highlight that had everyone chuckling? Hearing about how many places in Japan require you to take your shoes off before entering; quite the contrast to our “no shirt, no shoes, no service” way of life here in the States! 👣😂

Maya has been such a wonderful addition to our team — always eager to engage and educate with warmth and creativity. We are so grateful to have her! 💜
