My staff is not able to handle the call volume, hence we made a strategic decision to have the phones go to our answering system. We do triage the calls and get back to you based on their priority. We do our best to return your call with in the same business day. Our system "callmydoc" is capable of recognizing you based on the information you put in the system , like your date of birth and name, directly forwarding your message to your chart. This way I have the reassurance that none of the messages get lost.
We have a better alternative, use your portal. This way your message gets to the right person including myself.
