It was all giggles and gobbles at Crosby Commons today! 🦃 Residents acted out Thanksgiving scenes during our charades game—including a runaway turkey and plenty of “gobble gobbles.” We wrapped up the fun with our “Biggest Turkey” game. An afternoon full of laughter!

It was a perfect day for our Fall Chili Cook-Off! Staff brought the heat, while residents had fun guessing the secret ingredients and choosing the winners. Everyone enjoyed some warm, spicy goodness on a chilly afternoon.

Fall Open Studio fun! 🎨🍁 Some residents worked on their pumpkin paintings while others made cute decorative turkeys for their apartments. Lots of laughter, creativity, and good company!

Happy 95th Birthday to Rita! 🎉
Rita Miko joined our Crosby Commons family about five years ago as a Sittercise instructor and quickly formed a special bond with our residents. She’s not only a wonderful teacher but also an inspiration to us all — at 95, she’s still going strong, leading Sittercise classes twice a week and volunteering twice a week at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

Rita, we wish you the happiest of birthdays! May your day be as special as you are. 💛
