PRO TIP: To prevent silver diamine fluoride from being diluted by saliva post-application, apply a rosin-based fluoride varnish like FluoroDose over it. This will form a seal over the area and lock the SDF in place. A water-based fluoride treatment will not work in this scenario as it rinses away almost immediately.
