As a 43-year-old dentist, I’ve spent years helping others improve their oral health, airway function, and smiles - but recently, I realized it was time to take a closer look at my own.

I started to notice a little snoring, some orthodontic relapse, and the sense that I could be breathing and sleeping better. This curiosity led me to begin my own myofunctional therapy journey! This is a structured program that retrains the tongue, lips, and facial muscles to work in harmony.

Experiencing this firsthand not only helps me better understand what my patients go through, but it also deepens my empathy as a provider. Every exercise and every “aha” moment gives me new insight.

Myofunctional therapy isn’t just a trend, it’s an essential part of whole-body health. I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and sharing this path toward better breathing, sleeping, and smiling with 😁
