🏆 Mason Health has been recognized by the Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) with the 2025 Top Performer Award for outstanding achievements in reducing the risk of blood‑borne pathogen exposure across the organization.

“This recognition is meaningful because it reflects the dedication of every staff member who takes safety seriously," said Melissa McClaran, Program Manager of Infection Prevention, Employee Health & Safety. "Working at a hospital, our employees are more at risk of a blood-borne pathogen exposure than the average person. Not everyone has the same risk — our nurses, lab workers and EVS workforce are particularly at risk. We want to protect them as much as possible.”

Mason County high school students seeking scholarships in the medical field can now apply to the Mason Health Foundation Auxiliary Scholarship! 🩺This application is also open to Mason Health employees seeking further education in their medical studies. Applications are due April 24!

🎉Mason Health is pleased to recognize Teresa (Tracy) Keefe, Supply Chain Technician, as the February 2026 Employee of the Month, honoring her more than nine years of service, commitment to teamwork, and steady support of hospital operations behind the scenes. 👏

Keefe first joined Mason Health in 2016 as a courier, bringing with her extensive experience in logistics and service from a 32-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. 🙌
