Good morning and thanks for joining in for the thought for today. Hebrews 5:11-14 Christian growth is necessary. Being a Christian is more than making a decision. It is more than accepting Christ. There must be daily growth. Those who do not grow in the Lord will find themselves drifting from the Lord and spiritual things. Peter tells us to grow in the Lord (2 Peter 3:18). Once we become a Christian there is no stopping place. We must go forward, or we will go backward. It's God's intention for all who have truly been born again to grow in the Lord. A baby will drink milk when it is born but it isn't long before it starts wanting something besides milk. Christian's need the word of God to grow without it they will drift away and die on the Lord. Many today have no interest in growing in the Lord and therefore have drifted away from God. In that case they need to come back to God and do their first works over. Its vitality important that Christian's grow and be able to discern both good and evil. Have a blessed day and keep on keeping on for our lord. Continue praying for the family of James Haynes, his funeral will be today. Pray for Karen Seale in the days going forward as she buried her husband yesterday.
