🚨 Still dealing with PMS, bloating, breast tenderness, or mood swings… even though your hormones “look normal”?

It might not be production—it might be recirculation.

Your liver packages up excess estrogen → sends it to the gut to be eliminated.
But if beta-glucuronidase (an enzyme made by certain gut bacteria) is high…

👉 it unlocks that estrogen
👉 sends it right back into circulation
👉 and now you’re stuck in a loop of estrogen recirculation

⚠️ Result:
• PMS
• Estrogen dominance symptoms
• Heavy or frequent cycles
• Breast tenderness
• Bloating + irritability

This is why gut health = hormone health.

If you don’t clear estrogen… you reabsorb it.

✨ What actually helps:
• Support detox pathways (not just “detox teas”)
• Balance the gut microbiome
• Increase fiber to bind + eliminate
• Consider targeted support (like calcium-d-glucarate when appropriate)

You can’t out-supplement a recycling problem.

💬 If you’ve been told your labs are “normal” but you feel anything but—this is your sign to look deeper.

PPI’s aren’t doing you any favors and they certainly aren’t treating the root cause in most cases.

You deserve to have less daily symptoms and I know you’d love to take one less medication. 💊

When stomach acid is low, everything downstream starts to suffer.

Comment “acid” and I’ll send you where to start.

You can remediate your home…
and still end up right back where you started.

Mold isn’t just about exposure.
It’s about environment.

If you don’t control moisture, airflow, and humidity…
you’re setting the stage for it to come back.

These are the exact things we stay on top of now 👆

Researchers looked at over 300 patients labeled with IBS-D.

And guess what?

👉 98% of them actually had a DIFFERENT diagnosis
👉 68% had bile acid dysfunction—something totally treatable

So it wasn’t ‘just IBS’…
It was missed root causes.

This is why I don’t stop at an IBS label.

IBS is often just an umbrella for:
• bile flow issues
• microbiome imbalances
• poor digestion
• inflammation

When you identify the WHY—everything changes.

If you’ve been told ‘it’s just IBS’ and nothing is working…

It’s time to dig deeper.

If you have Hashimoto’s, gluten may be working against you.

One of the mechanisms we see is called molecular mimicry—where the immune system reacts to gluten and mistakenly targets thyroid tissue as well.

This doesn’t mean gluten is the root cause for everyone.
But in many cases, it acts as a trigger or amplifier of the autoimmune response.

Clinically, I often see:
• Decreased TPO and thyroglobulin antibodies
• Improved energy and brain fog
• Better gut stability

…when gluten is removed—especially in those with underlying gut dysfunction.

You don’t need a celiac diagnosis for this to matter.

If you’re dealing with Hashimoto’s and still struggling with symptoms, this is one of the first places I look.

I’m 22 weeks pregnant so there’s more I would have done if that wasn’t the case!

The first thing I did was REST! This does not come easily to me but I’m getting better at it. I laid around for hours, red birthing books, soaked up the sun and skipped my walks and workouts. 💤 Had I not been pregnant I would have taken some extra sleep support with Dramamine.

Nasomine iodine spray 2 sprays each side of my nares daily. Don’t forget to tilt your head to the side or lay on your side for a minute to completely cover your sinus passage and cavities. This stops viral replication. 👃

🛑 I chose to ride my fever out. Breaking a fever breaks the bodies natural response to illness. You’re prolonging illness if you do this.

Extra vitamin D3 K2 40,000 IU is what I took, you’ll burn through late while ill. I also used my UVB panel and went outside and laid in the sun to get some natural vitamin D. ☀️

Zinc 30 mg twice daily with a small amount of food to avoid nausea.

Vitamin C 1000 mg three times daily if bowels tolerate it. Also included lots of vitamin C rich foods like citrus. 🍊

Epsom salt baths with 4 cups salt to regulate body temperature and support relaxation and body aches. Sipped a quart of salt water while in the tub. 🧂

Grounded 2 hours while laying in the sun to charge up my cells and decrease inflammation.

Hydrogen tablets which I use anyways!

Gentle foods like bananas, apples, potato, and bone broth. Then I fasted for 16+ hours to give my digestive system rest.

Pedialyte clear version for some extra electrolytes.

That’s it!!!

Hope this helps you!

Planning a baby? Don’t neglect this.

Your mitochondrial health becomes the foundation for your baby’s cells.

Most individuals need 6 months to a year to truly prepare their body for a healthy pregnancy.

This preparation often includes:
• supporting gut health so nutrients are properly absorbed
• improving blood sugar balance and reversing insulin resistance
• building a lifestyle that supports healthy, resilient cells

And what about your partner?

Yes — their health matters too.

S***m quality is highly affected by things like environmental toxins, nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle. The good news is s***m regenerates faster, so preparation for men is typically around 3 months.

Healthy parents help create healthy cells for the next generation.

Let’s get you right before you start trying to conceive.

Low stomach acid is often overlooked, yet it plays a critical role in digestion and immune defense.

Adequate acid:
✔ sterilizes incoming food
✔ supports protein breakdown
✔ protects against pathogens

Symptoms of low stomach acid are:
• Feeling overly full with small meals
• Belching or burping after eating
• Indigestion or heaviness in the stomach
• Undigested food in stool
• Constipation (slow motility)
• Gas and fermentation

Many people with reflux actually have LOW stomach acid. That PPI you’re taking is depleting your nutrients, keeping your acid low, leading to overgrowths, and not fixing your true issue. You’ll likely need to wean off your medication, especially if you’ve been taking it for some time. Which by the way, they were never meant to long term.

Maybe you’re just having some bloating after your meals. Start with these simple tips and reach out if you need more support! Your gut, hair skin and nails, immune system and nervous system will thank you.
