Directors of Post-Acute Partnerships, Karri Kennedy and Lisa Snyder had an opportunity to discuss Respite Care with Tabitha Justice of Just Us Retirement Solutions.

Respite care is a valuable option for caregivers. Karri says, "If you need a safe place for your loved one while you tend to your own matters, that's where we come into play."

At Genesis, we're committed to meeting the unique needs of every patient. Lisa says, "Even during that 7-14 day period, we're still going to establish a plan of care that's conducive for that patient."

A proud Pittsburgh native, Troy brings deep dedication and heartfelt leadership to our community. After earning his degree in Healthcare from Penn State and serving four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Troy has spent his career and personal life rooted in service, family, and faith.

Troy and his wife are proud parents to seven children — four of whom they lovingly adopted — and are active in their local church in the Shenandoah Valley. Whether he’s hiking in the mountains, tackling a construction project, or vacationing in remote places like Belize and St. Maarten, Troy brings a spirit of adventure and compassion into everything he does.

His passion for senior living began with his grandmother’s experience in a retirement community, and it continues to guide his commitment to providing 5-star care and hospitality to each resident here at Canterbury.
