🗣️🎉 Matching Games in Speech Therapy? Yes, Please!

Matching games are a fun and effective way to target speech and language goals during therapy sessions and at home. Here’s how they help:

✔️ Sound Production – Kids can practice target sounds each time they name a card or make a match.
✔️ Listening Skills – Hearing and identifying similar sounds builds phonemic awareness.

🌟 Success in ABA! 🌟

Our friend was a little nervous about leaving the room during their ABA session, but Miss Shelby knew just how to make it fun and comforting. By using bubbles and letting her know they were heading to one of their favorite activities—Play-Doh—they were able to step out and explore the gym!

It was such a joy to see them have fun, try new things, and enjoy the experience. Way to go, friend, and thank you, Miss Shelby, for making therapy engaging and encouraging! 💛

At Associates in Pediatric Therapy, every child’s journey is unique—and we love celebrating their progress!

✨ Meanwhile, another amazing child in speech therapy is improving their speech intelligibility, following directions, and understanding descriptive concepts like colors, shapes, and sizes.

In our OT session, our friend hung out with Amy while going on a letter hunt around the office, finding and counting all the letters in her name.

Big News at APT!✨ In July, we proudly welcomed Kimberly Goessele as our new Chief Executive Officer of Associates in Pediatric Therapy. Kimberly brings a wealth of healthcare leadership experience and a strong track record of helping organizations grow while keeping families at the heart of every decision. We are thrilled to have her guiding us into our next chapter.
We’re also proud to announce that Jill Bosa, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Jill has been a driving force at APT for almost two years, combining her clinical background and operational expertise to help us deliver outstanding care and expand our reach.
