The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Medicare Open Enrollment is right around the corner — October 15 through December 7. During this time, you can review your coverage and decide whether Traditional Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan is right for you. Please keep in mind that United Regional accepts Traditional Medicare as well as the following in-network Medicare Advantage plans: Aetna, American Health Management Service, and UnitedHealthcare.
We are here to help you make informed decisions about your healthcare. Join us at a free community education session, where you can learn from experts about your options, ask questions, and enjoy light refreshments. The Wichita Falls session will be presented by Greg Downing, Medicare Advisor; all other sessions will be presented by Mindy Dodd, Caregiver Specialist Benefits Counselor at the Area Agency on Aging of North Texas.

Please be advised that the 82 MDG Immunization Clinic has received flu vaccines for all ages (including 65 and older) starting 22 September 2025, 0730-1630.

The 82d Medical Group will be providing flu shots for all Active Duty Personnel beginning 22 September 2025 at the Events Center:

📢 TRICARE Coverage Update: Weight Loss Medications 📢

On Aug. 31, 2025, changes to weight loss medication coverage took effect for certain TRICARE beneficiaries. This update did not impact those enrolled in TRICARE Prime, Select, or Premium plans.
