Welcome Beginners! When you are brand new to yoga, it can feel intimidating and be difficult to know exactly where and how to get started. Our Yoga for Beginners will gently introduce you to yoga postures and terminology. The benefits of yoga are almost endless! Practicing yoga helps build healthy virtues and good values, such as discipline, self-inquiry, mindfulness, gratitude and non-attachment. Yoga empowers you to make conscious choices toward living a more healthy and fulfilling life. We provide yoga mats and props. If you have a yoga mat you are welcome to bring it to class. Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing and remove shoes and socks upon arrival. Everyone is welcome! Come try it out🫶

What is Align & Flow?

Align & Flow is a warm (not hot) flow-based class designed to support a thoughtful, sustainable yoga practice. Classes begin with a steady vinyasa warm-up, followed by a focused mid-class look at poses, movement patterns, or drills that invite curiosity and play.

Drawing inspiration from Iyengar yoga, the practice explores how alignment principles can be applied across many poses and styles of yoga. Pauses, props, and clear cues are incorporated to build strength, stability, and awareness, allowing students to gradually build skill and confidence over time.

Class finishes with a grounding cool-down and rest. Align & Flow is ideal for students who enjoy flowing and want to deepen their understanding of alignment, move with more intention, and refine their practice over time.

Sahand came to yoga through years of strength training and fitness, which shaped his interest in functional movement, alignment, and sustainable strength. Over the past five years, he has developed a dedicated yoga practice, drawn to yoga’s ability to support mobility, spinal health, posture, and long-term resilience.

He completed his 200-hour teacher training in 2024 and teaches a flow-based style influenced by Iyengar principles. His teaching emphasizes active stretching and building strength through full ranges of motion, helping students gradually progress while improving mobility, stability, and body awareness.

Sahand’s classes are thoughtfully paced and designed to support steady progression over time, helping students build confidence, refine their practice, and move with greater ease both on and off the mat.
