Sheridan Community Hospital

Sheridan Community Hospital SCH is a 22-licensed bed acute care hospital, located in the heart of Montcalm County, on M-66.

Sheridan Community Hospital (SCH) is a non-profit, independent, critical access hospital providing medical services including a subacute care unit, physical rehabilitation services, outpatient specialty & surgical services, an affiliated family practice – Sheridan Care, and 24/7 diagnostic imaging, walk-in clinic, emergency department, and laboratory services. In 1999, SCH became certified to provide care for patients requiring longer-term stays. We now have ten beds that are certified as "Swing Beds" or transitional care nursing.

The City of Stanton is pleased to announce it was awarded $400,000 from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for homeowner rehabilitation projects. Eligible homeowners can receive up to $10,000 for qualifying projects!

Homes must be located in Stanton city limits to qualify.

We are thrilled to share that the Annual Auction Fundraiser was a wonderful success! This year's goal was $50,000. With the Community's support and generosity, $40,000 was raised after expenses. Proceeds will go towards the needs for building of a new hospital.

There were approximately 100 items donated for the silent and live auctions. There were 140 guests in attendance for this year's event.
