Randall Lee Dunham

Randall Lee Dunham was born in Noblesville, Indiana on October 11, 1958, to his father Kenneth and mother Dorothy Dunham. Randy passed away in his home, surrounded by family on June 3, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lora Dunham, son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Andrea, daughter Holly, brothers Thomas (Jan) and Jeffrey (Sandy), sister Deborah (Jim) Hughes and brother-in-law Joseph Oliphant. Randy was also blessed with his grandchildren Logan (Hannah) Foster, Dylan Gendron, Rhiannon, River and Rosalyn Dunham. He is also survived by his beautiful great grandchildren, Clara, Elizabeth, Jack and Noah Foster.

Randy was a 1977 graduate of Noblesville High School and spent much of his youth getting into mischief with his partner in crime, Jeffrey Dunham. Upon their marriage on August 29, 1981, Lora Dunham, the love of his life, straightened him out and helped forge him into the man he became. Randy worked hard for his family in the tool & die industry for 46 years. He was a provider, loving husband, father and man of faith. He was a jokester who never lost his youthful mischievousness. He was a patriot who loved his country. Most of all, he loved his family fiercely and he spent every day of his life proving that fact. He will be sorely missed, but through faith in Christ, the grave cannot keep him. We’ll see you soon Randy.

There will be a celebration of life for Randy on August 22, 2025. It will be held at the Osprey Pointe Pavilion, 19777 Morse Park Lane, Noblesville, IN 46062. Family and friends are welcome to attend between the hours of 5:00pm and 8:00pm.

Janis Mae Trietsch, 78, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 27, 1947, in Loretto, Tennessee, Janis was a shining light to all who knew her.

Janis graduated from Hamilton Heights High School, Class of 1966. In her personal life, Janis married Max Henry "Bud" Trietsch on September 19, 1970, in Cicero, Indiana, and together they celebrated 54 years of marriage. Their union was marked by unwavering support and companionship. Janis will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving and caring individual who never met a stranger. Her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren, and her passion for volunteer work enriched the lives of many. She had a flair for cooking, especially southern cuisine and in her leisure, time working puzzles, gardening, camping, and playing euchre, always cherishing moments spent with family and friends. Janis is survived by her husband Bud, son Mark (Heather) Trietsch, daughter Janell (Des) Woodruff, and grandchildren Owen Trietsch, Jada Trietsch, Kyra Woodruff, and Kendra Woodruff. She is also remembered by her siblings, Troy Morrison and Karen Chandler.

Janis was a woman of deep faith, attending Assembly of God Church in Kirklin, Indiana since 1983. Her commitment to her beliefs was evident as she served in various roles, including teaching Sunday School, caring for the church which included detailed cleaning. Her involvement in the Women's Ministry led her to serve as president, vice president, and trustee. She was also involved with Kids Ministry which further showcased her dedication to nurturing others' spiritual growth. She also served as Scout Master for the Boys Scouts, and The Girls Scouts. In recognition of her exceptional contributions, she was honored as Woman of the Year from Phi Beta Psi Sorority.

Janis will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving and caring individual who never met a stranger. Her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren, and her passion for volunteer work enriched the lives of many. Her professional journey also included working at Walmart in Carmel in the Pharmacy and dedicating nine years of her life to daycare, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of countless children and she worked as a Teacher Aide at Sheridan High School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Adle (Wiley) Morrison, and her sisters, Sheila Null and Julia Morrison.

Visitation for Janis will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Kirklin, Indiana, located at 519 S. Main St. Kirklin, IN. 46050 on June 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan. Ronald Lee Fisher, age 76, of Sheridan, passed away on April 26, 2025.

Ron was a Marine Corps veteran who proudly served his country. After his military service, he retired from Delco Remy/General Motors, where he was known for his strong work ethic and love of his family. He was also a valued member of the Sheridan American Legion Post 67, where he enjoyed comradery with fellow veterans.

Ron wore many hats in his lifetime—volunteer firefighter, EMT, school bus driver, craftsman, and community member—but his greatest joy came from the simple things. He had a passion for woodworking and gardening, and loved the freedom of the open road on his Honda Goldwing motorcycle with his wife Janet. Ron never met a stranger and was well-known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and warm personality.

Ron was a man of faith who attended Six Points church in Sheridan.

He was a loving grandfather to Kylee, Zander, Madison, Dimitri, and Marc, and his legacy lives on in their hearts. Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Janet; daughters Brandi (Myxl) and Traci (Joel); and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Georgia (Mendell) Marcum, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, who departed this world on January 30, 2025. Born in Aurora, Indiana, on July 5, 1941, Georgia dedicated her life to making others feel beautiful, to nurturing her family, and to creating lasting memories of love and laughter.
Georgia was the daughter of Donald Wayne and Kathleen (Walker) Mendell, who instilled in her the values of kindness, generosity, and a deep appreciation for family. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her devoted husband Billy Marcum, who she married on April 4, 1967, and her dear brother Jack Mendell.
Georgia's legacy lives on through her four children: Barry (Theresa) Marcum, Billie (Mike) Stover, Brandon (Vickie) Marcum, and Brad (Brandi) Marcum. She treasured her nine grandchildren—Bethany, Jamie, Madison, Lanie, Kaycee, Torin, Torrie, Brylee, and Bradee—who were the light of her life. She took immense pride in being a great-grandmother to Aaliyah, Mason, Haislee, River, Dallas, Jackson, Everly, and Huntsleigh, often sharing her wisdom and warmth with them, creating bonds that will surely endure.
For many years, Georgia was a licensed cosmetologist, transforming her clients with her skilled hands and creative vision. Her ability to make others feel beautiful mirrored her loving spirit and kind heart. In addition, she served many families as a dedicated school bus driver for Westfield Washington Schools, where her friendly demeanor and gentle nature made her a beloved figure among students and parents alike.
Georgia was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Noblesville, where she engaged with her community and made lasting friendships. She had a zest for life and an adventurous spirit, with a particular love for travel and the beach. Her favorite getaway was to Ludington, Michigan, where she and her husband created cherished memories, enjoying the beauty of nature and each other’s company. Georgia found joy in fishing, but above all, her greatest joy came from her family, whom she adored fiercely.
Known for her loving, kind nature, Georgia was a person who never met a stranger. Her warm smile and welcoming heart touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind her brothers Don (Caroline) Mendell and Mike (Claudia) Mendell, along with her brother-in-law Rick Marcum and sisters-in-law Debbie (Fred) Amend, Linda Mendell, and Doris Marcum, as well as several nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory close.

A funeral service to honor Georgia’s life will be held on March 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fisher Family Funeral Services. Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am till the time of services. in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose love and light will continue to shine through her family and all whose lives she touched.

As we say goodbye to Georgia, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

Robert "Bob" Harold Shock, born on April 9, 1966, in Defiance, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2025, in Sheridan, Indiana. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was marked by a deep commitment to his family and community.

Bob served as a police officer in Sheridan, Indiana, for 20 years, dedicating the last 9 years of that tenure as the Police Chief. His commitment to service extended beyond law enforcement; he also drove a school bus for Sheridan Community School, where he became a comforting presence for many students. Bob's dedication to his community was evident in all he did, earning him the respect and admiration of those around him.

A graduate of Warren Central High School, Class of 1984, he furthered his education at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Session 173 in Plainfield, Indiana. Bob was much more than his professional accomplishments; he was a family man who brought joy and laughter into the lives of those he loved. He had a funny, light-hearted personality, never met a stranger, and embraced every opportunity to spread cheer.

Outside of work, Bob was an accomplished craftsman, with a remarkable talent for woodworking. He could envision an object from a mere picture and construct it from memory, even building his own sawmill based on images he had studied. His craftsmanship extended to modern technology as well, as he enjoyed making items on his 3D printer.

Bob had a passion for a variety of activities. He enjoyed coaching girls' softball and was actively involved in 4H. His love for animals shone through as he raised goats, chickens, cows, ducks, and pigs. Bob cherished the great outdoors—camping, fishing, and traveling brought him immense joy, with cruising to Aruba being a particular favorite. Additionally, he took delight in grilling hamburgers for home high school football games and driving the school bus to various sporting events.

His proudest accomplishments included being honored with a life-saving award in 2024 and being deeply involved in his children's lives. He celebrated his role as a loving husband to his wife, Debbie (Scolley) Shock, whom he married on December 12, 1987, and as an adoring father to his daughter Jessica (Jordan) Walker and son Steven (Ivy) Shock. His grandchildren Emmett, Grayson, Blakely, Reese, and Nolan were a source of great joy for him, as he relished every moment spent with them.

Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, surrounded by family and friends during his final moments. He is now reunited in peace with his parents, Lawrence Shock and R.J. Bloom, and his grandson, Bennett Michael Walker, who passed away in 2016.

A visitation to honor Bob will be held on February 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM, both taking place at Sheridan Six Points Church located at 1545 W. 226th St., Sheridan, Indiana, 46069. S. Arnold Pettigrew, a beloved husband, father, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Kirklin, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 20, 1930, in Madison County, Indiana, he was a man whose heart was as vast as his talents and interests. Arnold dedicated 30 years of his life to Delco, where he worked as a tool and die maker and was a proud member of UAW Local 292. He graduated from Sheridan High School, Class of 1949, setting the foundation for a lifetime of learning and achievement. His passion for aviation led him to earn his pilot's license, which allowed him to fly a Cessna 152 and 172—an accomplishment he held dear.
Arnold was a man of many talents and interests; he enjoyed golfing, carpentry, water skiing, boating, and fishing. Raised in a family-oriented environment, he cherished the time spent with his loved ones, embodying the spirit of a faithful man who never met a stranger. He was a devoted member of the Six Points Church in Sheridan, Indiana and the Aero Club at Glendale Airport in Kokomo, Indiana.
Above all else, his proudest accomplishments included marrying his beloved wife of 72 years, Mary Arlene (Long) Pettigrew, whom he wed in Jeffersonville, Indiana on May 17, 1952. Together, they raised a family that was his pride and joy. He leaves behind five children: Allen (Marcia) Pettigrew of Westfield, Marianna Hoffman of Florida, Dale (Barb) Pettigrew of Texas, Tracey (Dennis) Hobson of Florida, and Mike (Julie) Pettigrew of Kirklin. He was a loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren—his legacy woven through each generation.
Arnold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, who remained his partner and confidante throughout their lives, as well as his parents, Clarence Grover and Grace May (Harlus) Pettigrew.
A graveside service will be held on January 28, 2025, at 11:00 am, located at 508 E. 6th Street Sheridan, Indiana 46069. Where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and the love, he shared with all who knew him. Shirley Arnold Pettigrew leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and enduring love that will resonate through his family for years to come.

James "Jim" Roy Waters, of Kirklin, a beloved figure in the community, was born on October 20, 1938 to the late Ralph Roy and Gertrude (Wright) Waters in Howard County, Indiana He departed this life on December 22, 2024, in Kirklin, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family, leaving a legacy of kindness and a dedication to his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jim married the love of his life Katherine "Katie" Alice (Faucett) Waters on June 27, 1958, they were at each other sides for over 57 years until her passing on August 10, 2015.
Jim devoted over 30 years of his career to managing at Terhune Grain, where he became a respected member of the agricultural community. Prior to that, he worked at Wallace Grain in Sheridan, gaining admiration and appreciation from his colleagues and customers alike.
A proud graduate of Sheridan High School, Class of 1956, Jim exemplified the values of hard work and integrity that he carried throughout his life. His personality shone brightly; he never met a stranger and was described as a family man who treated everyone with kindness and respect.
Jim held a deep passion for the outdoors, relishing moments spent hunting, fishing, and riding horses. He also loved training c**n and rabbit dogs, pursuits that brought him great joy and connection with nature. His participation in Sunday School and Church was a testament to his unwavering faith and the values he instilled in his family.
Among his proudest accomplishments was winning horse races, and he often shared his favorite saying: "It's better to be on top looking down than on the bottom looking up."
He is survived by his children, Terri King of Kirklin, Gary (Tracy) Waters of Colfax, and Kenneth "Kenny" (Kathy) Waters of Kirklin. His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren: Aarron (Elisha) King, Adam (Polly) King, Jessica Waters, Amanda Waters, Paige (Brian) Waters, Nicole Sawyer, and Shelby (Taylor) Lite. He was a great grandfather to ten, a role that brought him immense pride and happiness.
Jim is also remembered by his brother Wayne (Judy) Waters and sister Nancy Stuart, along with several nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Katherine "Katie" Alice (Faucett) Waters, in 2015, and sisters Barbara Newton and Jayne Wright, who will be remembered in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jim's warmth, unwavering faith, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit of love and community serves as an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire many.
Funeral service will be held on Friday December 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Six Points Church located at 1545 W. 226th St. Sheridan, Indiana 46069; where family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am till time of services. Burial will Jim’s services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin.

Cown J. “Boone” Clark, 90 of Noblesville, formerly of Thorntown, passed away on October 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 5, 1934, to the late Garland Cown and Kathryn (Clark) Clark in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Boone was a graduate of Westfield High School, Class of 1954, after high school Boone enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War attaining the rank of Specialist Third Class.
Boone met the love of his life while attending high school and he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and on October 6, 1957, in Sheridan; Boone married Mabel (Hopkins) Clark and they have been at each other side until her passing on November 12, 2023, the two of them had been married for 66 years.
Boone worked for the City of Carmel and through hard work he eventually became the superintendent over the Utilities Department.
He was very involved in his children’s life, when his kids started playing sports he jumped right in coaching football, and baseball in the Westfield Youth Leagues.
He also was there to support Mabel, she played softball in adult leagues for years and he was right there to cheer her on.
Boone was a member of KV Elliott’s American Legion Post 67 in Sheridan, he was also a member of Sheridan Six Points Wesleyan Church and Christ Community Life Church.
Boone and Mable enjoyed camping especially with their family, they held a permanent camping spot at Old Mill Run for 15 years. After Boone retired the two of them would pull their camper to Gulf Shores, Alabama and stay there through winter, when spring arrived in Indiana, they would pull the camper back to Old Mill Run in Thorntown.
Family was the most important thing to him and Mabel, and it was important that they raised their family on a strong foundation. He leaves behind his three children Kathy Killen, Jenny (Bill) Higginbotham, and Chris Clark. He was a loving grandfather to Brandy Hoover, Toni (Thomas) Kinney, Kyle (Angie) Killen, Jennifer Higginbotham, Erica (Brian) Cooper, Mellisa Shank, Mollie Higginbotham, Amber (Jeff) Copeland, Jacob (Kim) Clark, and Joshua (Sarah) Clark. He was a proud great grandfather to 26 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sibling Betty Lou Casey. Boone was preceded in death by his wife Mabel in 2023 and his brothers Garland Cowan Clark, Ballard Arthur Clark, his sisters Anna Ruth Beauchamp, Norma Jean Robey, and two infant siblings.
A celebration of Boone’s life will be held on Thursday October 10, 2024, at 5:00 pm at One Church located at 18515 N. Union St Westfield, Indiana 46074. where family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 pm till time of services. Tom Fisher will be officiating Boone’s Services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Westfield Youth Sports PO Box 624 Westfield, Indiana 46074. 🔸 Stay focused – avoid distractions.
🔸 Farmers will pull over when it's safe to let you pass. Please be patient!
🔸 Never pass within 100 feet of intersections, railroads, or bridges.
🔸 Keep your distance – farm vehicles may stop suddenly.
🔸 Be cautious when passing – ensure the vehicle isn’t turning left.
🔸 Farm equipment is wide and may take up most of the road – pass carefully.
🔸 Plan ahead, know alternate routes, and give yourself extra time.
