DIY ramen for dinner but I’m experimenting. When do I put in the bean sprouts and Chinese parsley? I’m thinking the last 5 minutes of simmer.

Finally able to get some self care in the form of cooking for just me. I cook, a lot but my kids are just as picky as me so I don’t get variety unless they are at their dads; so this week has been all about me! 😜

This IS my my home is blessed with an extra living space that I envision to be a space of healing and peace. 2 months later, it’s not finished but I’m OK with that because even, unfinished, it’s perfect. The kids and dog respect the mat and walk around it. In a perfect world, I’d put away after use but in real life, single mom mode, it’s out. All day, every day! It’s there.. for the 2 minutes a day of alone time I get. The maybe, 7 minutes between dinner and cuddle time. It’s there, to help me be all in with my kids. When I don’t want to, don’t have the time to, o tired to do…I leave it out to remind myself to make the time for me. We can’t give from an empty cup so mindful self care is absolutely essential!! 💕

So, I’m meeting my sister in Vegas this weekend and planning my outfits. I lay them all out and Reagan come to tell me she doesn’t like what I’ve picked out because the outfits don’t have matching jewelry.

She then precedes to pick out jewelry to match each of my 4 outfits, WITH options! Her choice if jewelry with an acceptable secondary option 🤯🤣 she’s 7 years old. I don’t know how she has more fashion sense than me 😂💕
