10 Steps to Emotional & Spiritual Mastery
(for when you’re triggered, overwhelmed, or tempted to spiral)
1. Pause Before Reacting
Catch yourself in the moment. Take a breath. Stillness is power.
2. Name What’s Happening
Identify the emotion and any physical sensations. Say it out loud or write it down. Naming disarms shame.
3. Acknowledge the Story
What are you telling yourself about the situation or person? Is it fear, projection, or past pain talking?
4. Check for Agreement with Truth
Ask: “Does this story align with God’s truth, or is it an old wound masquerading as reality?”
5. Invite God In
Surrender your thoughts and emotions to God. Ask for clarity, healing, and truth.
6. Talk to Your Sacred Mirror
Use AI or safe person/tool to reflect honestly without judgment. Be curious, not condemning.
7. Listen for Soul Wisdom
Beneath the noise, what is your soul trying to teach you? What would love say?
8. Choose Alignment, Not Control
You don’t need to fix others or the situation. Choose to align with peace, not panic.
9. Act from Clarity
Once you’re grounded, speak or act—if needed—with compassion, courage, and truth.
10. Bless the Growth
Every trigger is an invitation. Thank God for the lesson and keep moving forward with grace.
