Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to reach out to my community and let you guys know that I have two different certifications in Health Coaching, both focusing on completely different aspects of the health coaching experience. On top of those two certifications, I also am a yoga teacher, and massage therapist (you knew this part).
Why am I making this post?
I am looking for 5 women in the Carson City area, who want to start making sustainable changes in their lives. I am working on writing up my health coaching program and really need to dive in with some people so that I can make sure I address as many questions as possible. There is a fee, however, it will be discounted heavily for the first month (one meeting as a group on a weekly basis, so you must be able to attend all meetings for one month). After that, you will be able to decide if you want to continue on with me! Please DM for more details! What is a Health Coach?
Let me answer this for you! A health coach is your personal health cheerleader, guide and partner. They help you implement lifestyle changes to improve your physical health. We also look and go over other major areas of life including : Stress, Nutrition, Sleep, Activity & Movement levels, & Time management. Here is a great article that goes over more about health coaching, but in addition to this, I am trained to look at other areas of life, and help you find other areas of life that are out of balance.

Who do I work with?
I mostly work with people who want to learn how to shop easier and better, learn to read nutrition labels, adjust recipes to be healthier alternatives, teach them some sustainable techniques to make their lives easier through the week when it comes to meal prep & eating, as well as helping people transition into a whole food (can be plant based, or not) way of life. I also help people come up with action plans for getting more movement in, as well as implementing any other changes in their lives that they want to see.
I can also help you navigate through new diagnosis of health related issues, and how we might be able to help those diagnoses through lifestyle changes! For example, someone just diagnosed with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and many many others!
I also help people navigate other things that they want to implement in their lives like meditation, journaling, yoga, and other movement practices. It's not just about nutrition!
