SLAP Tear Rehab Secret! 🤫 4 weeks post-op, and we’re already building strength on the injured side.
High school football star needs an accelerated comeback after his right shoulder SLAP tear. We can’t lift heavy on the right side yet, so we’re using two powerful techniques:
Cross-Education: Training the good arm sends strength signals directly to the injured shoulder, minimizing atrophy.
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR): Getting massive strength gains on the working arm using minimal weight (just 20% of his max!), which is safer and accelerates his total recovery.
Phase 1 is about getting stronger, safer, and faster. This is how you guarantee a comeback! 💪
🚫 IMPORTANT: Do NOT attempt advanced shoulder exercises until your doctor or physical therapist says you’re ready!
