This week our team was happy to help one of our local shelters, after they took in 28 cats from a local hoarding situation. There were kittens, young cats, and adult cats that were removed from the home.
Eastshore Humane Association now has over 100 cats they are needing to find homes for. Would you like to add a feline friend to your family?

Today Amy and Nathan participated in the Unforgettable Underdogs Golf Outting at Lake Breeze Golf in Winneconne. As one of the sponsors, our team is always proud to take part in the wonderful events put on by the shelters and rescues we are partnered with.

After meeting with a family this afternoon we wanted to take a moment to show you the newer projects and improvements being made at Forrest Run. The walkway project to the Memorial Garden has been started along with the planting of the apple tree.

We want to remind families, in the event of a beloved pet’s passing over a weekend or holiday, we always have one of our dedicated team members available to answer your calls and make arrangements for your pet.

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week to all Veterinary Receptionist’s! They are the front line, main point of contact, and the “nerve center” of your veterinary provider. At Forrest Run we know the importance of supporting our local non-profit pet rescue organizations and animal shelters and we make it a priority. We appreciate all the hard work the volunteers do, taking pets in and finding homes for them. Today we chose to support a different kind of non-profit pet organization, Get Toby Home. An organization that helps reunite people with their pets who have gone missing. We were made aware of them through the story of a dog named Coco from Neenah that went missing from her home on December 31st. It had been posted on the Neenah, WI page. Through the efforts and under the guidance of Get Toby Home and cooperation from many, Coco was reunited with her family on January 16th. We learned so much just from reading the post about Coco regarding the do’s and don’ts to finding a lost pet. The people at Get Toby Home know what they are doing, and they are incredibly passionate about what they do. Like any other non-profit they can use your support financially or as a volunteer. We are so fortunate to have this dedicated group of people, and we are proud to support them.
