🌿 Meet Mandy 🌿

Sherwood Chiropractic & Wellness Center is excited to introduce Mandy, our dedicated Office Manager whose journey with our practice began nearly nine years ago, not as a team member, but as a mom seeking the very best care for her family.

Mandy and her husband are parents to three children, with their youngest joining their family through adoption. As they navigated his cerebral palsy diagnosis, they explored therapies to support his development and overall well-being. Through massage therapy, chiropractic care with Dr. Shannon, and now incorporating occupational therapy services, Mandy experienced firsthand how supporting the nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems can make a profound difference. Sherwood Chiropractic & Wellness Center quickly became a cornerstone of their family’s journey.

About a year later, Mandy faced her own challenge with a breast cancer diagnosis. Through chemotherapy and recovery, she learned the importance of caring for herself, something many moms struggle to prioritize. Leaning on her faith, Mandy believes God placed Dr. Shannon in her life at just the right time. With perseverance, support, and expert care, she regained her strength and energy, and today says she truly feels alive again.

Her entire family has also found relief through services like dry needling, especially after her slightly memorable golf cart accident 😉, and they continue to benefit from the wide range of care offered at Sherwood Chiropractic & Wellness Center.

These experiences have shaped Mandy’s heart for others. She believes everyone deserves to feel known, valued, and cared for. In her role, she is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where each patient experiences the same hope, encouragement, and transformative care that has impacted her own family.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time with her kids, whether that’s fishing, hitting a few golf balls, or stacking “her” wood pile. She also loves a great supper club and playing the “shake of the day.” Stop in and she’ll gladly share her favorites! 🎣

🌿 Meet Kathy Meyer 🌿

Sherwood Chiropractic & Wellness is excited to introduce Kathy Meyer, a Licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about holistic wellness and personalized care.

Inspired by supporting her own family’s health through natural approaches, Kathy began her studies in 2004. She has over 12 years of experience working as both an independent practitioner and in a spa setting, helping clients relax, recover, and feel their best.

Kathy specializes in customized sessions using gentle, hands-on massage and manual therapy techniques. She also offers:
• Full body assisted stretching
• Ionic foot baths
• Relaxation-focused therapeutic massage

Her approach is centered on creating a calm, peaceful environment while truly listening to each client’s needs to help release tension and support overall well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Kathy enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family. 🌿🥾

🌿 Meet Ashley Kurscheidt 🌿

Sherwood Chiropractic & Wellness is excited to introduce Ashley Kurscheidt, an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist who specializes in sports massage and deep tissue therapy.

Ashley is a Calumet County native, raised on a small dairy farm in Stockbridge. She has spent more than 18 years helping clients relieve pain, recover from activity, and improve overall wellness.

She has extensive experience working alongside chiropractors, in local spas, and in private practice. In addition to sports and deep tissue massage, she is also certified in:
• Reflexology
• Reiki
• Energy massage
• Relaxation massage
• Swedish massage
• Myokinesthetic therapy

Her goal is to help clients reduce muscle tension, recover from physical stress, and feel their best through personalized care.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys gardening, landscaping, canning, hunting, and fishing, and loves spending time outdoors. 🌱🎣

At Sherwood Chiropractic & Wellness, we are dedicated to helping you move better, feel better, and live better. Connie Simon has been doing exactly that for more than 35 years as a Registered Occupational Therapist.

Connie is an OTR Occupational Therapist Registered, a Certified Hand Therapist CHT, and a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist. She also provides dry needling as part of her comprehensive treatment approach.

With decades of experience, Connie works with individuals experiencing traumatic injuries, repetitive strain issues, acute and chronic pain, limited mobility, and strength challenges. She understands that no two patients are the same, and she treats every person as an individual with a plan tailored specifically to their needs.

Whether you are recovering from an injury or working to regain strength and function, Connie brings knowledge, precision, and genuine care to every session.

Outside the clinic, her creativity and energy shine just as brightly. She enjoys decorating and organizing spaces, gardening, spending time outdoors, laughing with friends and family, and enjoying time with her fur baby. 🐾🌿🏡
