Hats Off to a Great Event!
This week at the care center, we tipped our hats to history with a delightful event celebrating vintage headwear. Residents enjoyed a fascinating look at the evolution of hats through the decades—complete with a charming display of authentic vintage styles. It was a fun, stylish, and educational afternoon that brought stories and smiles all around!

The Heritage Unveils New Exhibit Featuring Wildlife Photographer Joe Endy

Earlier this month, The Heritage proudly unveiled a stunning new exhibit featuring the work of award-winning wildlife photographer Joe Endy, based in Pennsylvania.

More than 50 residents and guests gathered for a special reception and gallery viewing. Endy spoke about the inspiration behind his captivating collection and shared stories from his photography adventures in the wild.

For the past 12 years, The Heritage has hosted rotating art exhibits each quarter, showcasing a variety of talent from resident artists to community members and beyond. These exhibits celebrate creativity and provide a platform for artists of all backgrounds to share their work.

On July 20th, we celebrated Man on the Moon Day by reminiscing about the iconic 1969 moon landing! Residents enjoyed fun moon trivia, space news updates, and even made some out-of-this-world photo props to mark the occasion!

Kicking off shark week and the 50th anniversary of Jaws in style! We spent the afternoon enjoying lively music, sweet goodies, and even a surprise visit from a friendly shark!

Aloha from The Heritage! Our “Aloha Heritage” celebration brought tropical vibes to both the Care Center and Independent Living. With island-inspired food, music, slushies, and fun giveaways, it was a luau to remember!

Uncle Sam made an early appearance at the Care Center to help us kick off the Fourth of July spirit! He brought big smiles and handed out flags to our residents, spreading a little red, white, and blue joy ahead of the holiday!

Last night was a truly elegant evening. Our residents enjoyed a beautifully prepared Gourmet Dinner in a formal setting, and surrounded by great company. A huge thank you to our Food & Beverage Department for creating such a memorable and successful experience!
