As of January 1, 2026, United Healthcare (UHC) has changed policies for some of their plans. If you have UHC, please verify that you have elected your Primary Care Provider and find out if you now need a referral to see a specialist. Unfortunately, there is no waiver for this new policy at this time, according to UHC. Lincoln Surgical is still a UHC provider, and we will be happy to care for you, but we are required to follow these new guidelines per UHC. If you have any questions, please contact UHC.
