Simply Shiner’s focus is to market and promote local businesses and organizations along with fulfilling a need that may be seen from the outside. Sometimes that need is checking in on a friend who may seem down and depressed or overly anxious, an elderly individual who may not have family to help with self care, a struggling family, someone who has just lost a loved one, or someone who may just be “lost”. These people not only need prayer, but may need simple guidance.
Shiner is full of amazing organizations that Serve and Support this Loving Community I call home and I am proud to be back here! I strongly urge you to take a step back from the hustle of life and give a person in need a phone call, bring a meal to them, text a spiritual quote, or simply let them know “I am here”. Too many people struggle with depression over the holidays and it’s an epidemic in mental health...
