Founded by Kimberly "Dusty" Leal in 2003 after her recovery from systemic scleroderma, Kimberly founded Dusty's Place in order to help help other people with scleroderma and other auto-immune disorders. Mission Statement –
The mission of Dusty’s Place is to fund research and promote public awareness of the benefits of combining Western with Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) to heal scleroderma and other diseases. Our purpose is to empower the public to make informed decisions about their health care by facilitating research along with providing tools and educational programs.
