But, did you also know that this wild flower is good for colds, congestion, seasonal allergies, urinary tract infection, kidney stones, muscle relief, arthritis and inflammation. It's not every day I get a message that a lady was bitten by a copperhead snake in VA and needed help healing from the pain and swelling that can last a lifetime. I had a fresh batch of plantain known for its healing properties for various types of bites including snake bites. I myself was skeptical for this venomous snake but mailed a tin to her via the message I received from her friend. Please read her comments below, I have her permission to share this. I was bitten by a copperhead one month ago and the swelling was down but not a lot. It is a very slow healing process getting bit by a venomous snake. My friend sent me your salve with plantain in it for the pain and swelling. Before I went to bed, I slathered it on my foot and leg below the knee. In the morning I could see the veins in my foot and the pain in the shin was gone. Excellent excellent excellent! Sadly a long lost art. Please keep doing what you do. Small batches of salve are ready to go. They do not get any fresher. I am stocked on everything. Spear Thistle, Mullein, Yarrow, Rose, Rose Oil, Red Clover, Lilac, Plantain, Dandelion. We foraged this holiday weekend and gathered fresh Plantain, Red Clover, Spear Thistle, Mullein and Rose. Only the freshest ingredients and all natural organic products go into each salve. Customers: it's that time of year if you live in an area of humidity that your salve will start to melt and needs to be kept in the frig. My own tin started to melt so I mixed it up with my spoon and refrigerated it. That liquid is just the plant juice mixing with the bees wax. It's full of your nutrients so don't dump it out. Dab it with a paper towel if it's too wet for you but don't dispose of it.😊 p.s. my husband is coming to Harrisburg this weekend and will deliver salve to any of my customers.
