My name is Jaclyn Hoffman and I am a licensed therapist with over 18 years of clinical experience in the mental health field. This includes working in community mental health settings for adults and children, providing in-home mental health services for children and families. My practice, Shore Awakenings, came into fruition years ago, with the idea of offering more holistic approaches like SoulCollage® and energy psychology. The latter approach is the byproduct of encountering the tragic passing of my husband with the growing curiosity of what my/our true purpose of being here means. The pandemic permitted more of that self-discovery and so I found Reiki, yoga, breathwork, meditation, the understanding of the chakra system, amongst so many “unconventional” versions of therapy for myself. Here, I learned that “I am my own client” and although I am still healing, and learning (for I am a student at heart), I am offering my skills to those who seek it for their own grief, heartache, and emotional regulation. I am excited to offer tools to awaken your mind, soothe your body, and stir your soul. I am currently out-of-network (OON); however, your insurance may accept OON services so please inquire with your insurance company. I will provide a superbill (statement) and you may seek reimbursement through your insurance company. Please note that Reiki is not a service covered through insurance at this time.
