Located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Roxbury is an inpatient behavioral health facility serving adults and adolescents. Our commitment to exceptional care for each individual patient and his or her family is our top priority. Whether you are looking for treatment for yourself or a loved one, Roxbury is here to help. Physicians are on the medical staff of Roxbury, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Roxbury. To kick off , Roxbury was honored to support meaningful events in both York and Shippensburg, organized by The Harbor.

In Shippensburg, the event provided a space for reflection and remembrance of those lost to substance use. In York, the York Partnership for Recovery hosted a powerful gathering at Cherry Lane, featuring a proclamation reading and personal stories of resilience, highlighting the strength of community and the hope found in recovery.

For individuals in early recovery, holidays like Labor Day can bring unique challenges. At Roxbury, our team focuses on creating joyful, sober celebrations that highlight connection and community.

This year, patients harvested ripe cantaloupes from our own garden, proving that food tastes even sweeter when you grow it yourself. The day was filled with laughter, root beer floats, pizza and spirited games of volleyball between patients and staff.

We are grateful for the dedication, creativity and energy our staff bring to making these moments memorable. The beautiful weather was the perfect backdrop for a day of recovery, fun and shared success.

This past weekend, Boys and Girls Club hosted a Fun Fest in Shippensburg. Despite some possible rain, the day was full of games, resources and good old fun. Funds raised through this event are used to help supplement the cost of providing a safe and enriching place for our kids to go during the summer. Roxbury Treatment Center was happy to support such a wonderful event!
