Holly Beth Turner, age 65 of Fayetteville, passed away May 14, 2026 at home surrounded by her family and entered into the arms of Jesus. She was born December 15, 1960 in Lancaster to the late George William, Sr. and Gale Patricia (McWilliams) Leeds. Holly was a teacher for West Perry High School and was an advocate for CPARC. She was a member of Vibrant- a Christian Church, attended Life House Church in Chambersburg and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Holly is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Stephen Turner; children, Albert John Rohrbaugh of Carlisle, Erin Elizabeth Stone and husband, Jesse of Loysville, Nicholas Alexander Rohrbaugh and wife, Stephanie of Mechanicsburg and Jake Ryan Turner of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; sisters, Danielle Trussell of Landisburg and Cheryl and brother, Philip Leeds. Holly was preceded in death by her brother, George Leeds, Jr.

Rae Theresa Harman, 80, entered into God's eternal care on May 7, 2026, at her residence in Biglerville, Pennsylvania. Born on April 2, 1946, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Guy Leroy Deardorff and Irene Elma (Miller) Deardorff.

Rae was an active member of St. Paul's Church in Biglerville, where she shared her faith and talents generously with her community. Her love for music was profound, evidenced by her role as the Director of musicals at Biglerville High School, where she inspired countless students with her passion for the arts.

Rae dedicated over 25 years as a teacher's aide, extending her nurturing spirit to the children she guided. Her involvement with the daughters of the American Revolution reflected her commitment to preserving history and supporting her community. As a trained vocalist, Rae found joy and purpose in singing and music, which she shared with all those around her.

Rae was a cherished daughter, mother, and friend who dedicated herself to her loved ones and her passions. She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Barshinger and her husband, Brad, Shawna Harman; son Christopher Wilson and his wife, Gretchen; two brothers, Keith Eugene Deardorff and his wife, Brenda, Jeffrey Deardorff and his wife, Pat; seven grandsons, Troyer, Noah, Samuel, Caleb, Mica, Levi, and Jacob. In addition to her parents, Rae was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wilson Harry Harman.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville. A funeral service to celebrate Rae's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 25 Franklin Street in Biglerville. A visitation will take place an hour prior. Burial will follow in Biglerville Cemetery.

Rebecca Ellen “Becky” (Whittick) Nelson, age 68 of Gettysburg, passed away May 11, 2026 at Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital. Born July 30, 1957 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles George and Lillian Eva (Banger) Whittick. Becky was a federal corrections officer for 21 years at FCI Fairton, NJ. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, cross stitching, antiquing and shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kevin T. Nelson, Sr.; daughter, Gwen L. Halstead and husband, John “Jay” of Orlando, FL; son, Kevin T. Nelson, Jr. and wife, Nicole of Pennsville, NJ; six grandchildren; sisters, Christine Scotto of Englishtown, NJ and Donna Fitzgerald and husband, Walt of Carneys Point, NJ and brothers, Ricky Whittick and wife, Debbie of Pennsville, NJ and Bobby Whittick and wife, Sharon of Carneys Point, NJ. Becky was preceded in death by her sister, Bianca Moussaly and brothers, Charles Whittick, Jr. and Michael Whittick.

Gary Loren Robey, Sr.

Gary Loren Robey Sr., age 83, of Biglerville, passed away at home on May 6, 2026. Born on May 18, 1942 in Keyser, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lawrence Gilbert Robey and Catherine Riley (Ellifritz) Robey.

Gary was a respected antiquarian rare books and prints dealer whose lifelong passion for reading, collecting books, antiques, and coins reflected his deep appreciation for history, culture, and knowledge. Through his love of learning, he became exceptionally well read, thoughtful, and educated on a wide range of subjects. He will be remembered for his intellect, kindness, unwavering faith, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Above all, Gary was a man of strong faith, which guided him throughout his life.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda (Bernard) Robey of Biglerville; his children, Sheryl Robey of Biglerville, Gary Robey Jr. and his wife Caitlin of Biglerville, Larry Robey and his wife Rocio of Sykesville, MD, and Scott Robey of Lake Placid, FL. He also leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory. He will be fondly remembered by his oldest granddaughter, Courtney, for the many wonderful world travels they shared together.

Kathleen Anne Ryll, 78, of Gettysburg, entered into Gods eternal care on May 3, 2026 at Paramount Senior Living in Fayetteville. Born October 27, 1947, in Keene New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Ryll and Rosemary (Grimes) Ryll. Kathleen worked as a clerk for Knouse Foods for 40 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening in her free time. Kathleen also loved going to the beach; her favorites were Cape Neddick and Nubble Lighthouse.

Surviving is one daughter, Melissa Runk and her husband, Robert; one daughter in-law, Stacee Coffin; two sisters that reside in New Hampshire, Maralyn Perron, Rosalind Ryll; and four grandchildren, Curie Bussard and her husband, Josh, Nathan Runk and his wife, Megan, Alexee Coffin, and Tyler Coffin. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Coffin.

Shirley Davis Ogburn, age 83, entered into God’s eternal care on May 4, 2026 at Concordia at SpiriTrust Gettysburg. She was born April 20, 1943, in the village of Latimore as she was the daughter of the late Harold S. Davis and Janet L (Group) Davis. Shirley is survived by her brother Greg and his wife, Dr. Abby Davis, of Hershey and her two sisters-in-law, Linda Davis, of Dillsburg, and Lynn Davis, of Smithfield, VA. She is also survived by her two precious nieces (with whom she has spent a lot of enjoyable time) – Dr. Kristi Lynch, Captain Ian Lynch, their son, Alexander Scott Lynch, and their daughter, Kennedy Maxine Lynch, of Stafford, VA and Kylee Davis of Smithfield, VA.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Wayne, and three brothers, Robert, Douglas and Harold.

She was a 1960 graduate of York Springs High School, a 1964 graduate of Gettysburg College, where she received a B.A. degree, and a 1973 graduate of Shippensburg College, where she received a master’s in education degree.

She retired from Bermudian Springs School District in 1995, after completing 31 years of teaching in the elementary school. She continued to perform volunteer work there for many years after her retirement. She also tutored for several years at the Middle School. She was later known as the “Apple Lady” by many students as in her volunteer years she taught a unit on Adams County apples each fall in a first-grade classroom. She dearly loved teaching and she never stopped attending the various Eagles sporting events.

After retirement, along with volunteering at school, she also worked for 12 years part time at Wendy’s of Dillsburg, which was always on her bucket list. She volunteered for many years at the food pantry at both Chapel Hill Church of God & Centenary United Methodist (UM) Church in Biglerville. She also delivered Meals on Wheels for several years for the York Springs Senior Center. She truly loved being with people.

She was a member of the Gettysburg Chapter of Eastern Star and YOSSHS.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Monday May 11 at 10:00 am at the Chapel Hill Church of God in York Springs. A viewing will be held one hour before the service, which will be presided by Pastor Randy Huber. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Shirley may be made to either the York Springs Food Pantry, the Upper Adams Food Pantry or Concordia at SpiriTrust Gettysburg.

Jesse “Steve” Stephen Rothenhoefer, Sr., a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 30, 2026, at his home at the age of 72. Born on May 20, 1953, in Gettysburg, PA, Jesse was the son of the late Charles Edward Rothenhoefer, Jr., and Juanita Arlene (McBee) Rothenhoefer.

A proud graduate of Bermudian Springs High School, class of 1972, Jesse dedicated 35 years of his life to nurturing the halls of that very institution as a custodian. Jesse found immense joy in raising rabbits, which became a cherished hobby throughout his life.

Jesse is survived by his loving spouse, Linda Rothenhoefer; two sons, David Rothenhoefer and his wife, Angie, and Jesse Rothenhoefer, Jr.; one brother, Michael Rothenhoefer; one sister, Georgia Cruz; six grandchildren, David Rothenhoefer Jr., Ian Rothenhoefer, Isaiah Olinger, Lane Rothenhoefer, Cheyenne Rothenhoefer, and C**t Rothenhoefer. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Rothenhoefer.

Bryan Wayne Hurley, age 53 of Shippensburg, passed away April 29, 2026 at home. He was born November 11, 1972 in Waynesboro to Jack and Shirley (Gladhill) Hurley. He enjoyed hunting, loved fishing and riding motorcycles but most of all, loved taking the kids to Hersheypark.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Keisha Farrell; children, Shyanne Hurley (Bradley Hollingsworth), Cierra Hurley (Beau Webber), Ashley Knott, Aria Hurley, Nevaeh Farrell and Ryan Farrell; grandchildren, Blayne and Nevaeh Hollingsworth, John and Abel Bumbaugh, Kandee Hurley and Jackson, Jordan and Zoie Sanders. Bryan was preceded in death by his sister, Candy (Hurley) Messner.

Ralph “Bud” Edward Danner Jr., 69, of Gardners, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 23, 2026.

Bud was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was centered around the people he loved. A hardworking man through and through, he took pride in providing for his family and being someone they could always count on. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors and loved the freedom he felt riding his motorcycle.

Beyond his strength and dedication, Bud had a fun sense of humor that brought light into everyday moments. Whether it was a well-timed joke, a playful comment, or simply his way of making other smile, he enjoyed lifting spirits and making those around him feel at ease. His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Edie Danner; his children, Zachary Danner (Seraine Danner) and Benjamin Danner (Audrey Danner); his daughter-in-law, Brooke Bildstein; his sister, Diana Fisher (David Fisher); his niece, Amy Fisher, his grandchildren, Caleb Danner, Paige Danner, Mason Danner, Madison Danner, and Miles Danner; and his great-grandchild, Carson Danner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Ralph Danner Sr.; his son, Nicklaus Danner; and his grandchild, Emerson Danner.

Bud’s legacy is on of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the joy he brought to other will live on in all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Franklin Curtis Montgomery Ridley, age 65, passed away April 26, 2026.

He was born August 22, 1960, in Harrisburg, PA.

He worked 30+ years in the Electrical trade in service and as a bucket truck operator.

Before losing his life to cancer, he was a respected employee of Rogers Electric out of Alpharetta, GA. He loved the work he did.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Ridley, his mother, Bonnie J. (Montgomery) Ridley both resting eternally at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Also preceded in death by his half-brother Frank Jr.; and two half-sisters Jane and Cathy.

He is survived by his wife, Linda K. (Basom) Ridley; one brother, Davide C.; and three sisters, Kathryn R., Dolly Jean, Darlene G.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank was happily married for 33 years and enjoyed fishing with his wife.

He was known for his love of music, lively debates on a variety of subjects, photography of fungi/mushrooms and using his computer to edit videos as well as using excel to analyze data.

His biggest regret in the end was not to retire early in order to travel with his wife to explore the natural wonders of the Southwest.

His favorite beer was Troegs Troegenator double bock and his favorite liquor was Glenfiddich scotch.
