I am often asked at market’s why? Either why am I selling goat’s milk or why is it better? My why is simple. A need for our daughter. Our daughter has struggled with eczema since she was 18 months old to the point of often bleeding. Now as a young teen the affects of continued steroid use and our frustration of the options left continued. Being self conscious of her condition I wanted to try something different. We live in the country. We had started raising Nigerian Dwarf goats. Goat milk has long been the go to. I began researching making soaps and lotions. Her smile from ear to ear with her forearms not bleached out or bloody anymore. She was wearing her sleeveless bridesmaid dress with confidence. Our daughter’s eczema is finally under control.
