Does your student need a winter coat, but you can't get to The Works on a Wednesday night to get one? Email us at TheWorks@shorelinepta.org with the following info:
Student's full name
Student's grade
Student's School
Student's size and any color likes or dislikes

We will do our best to find a coat that will work for your student, and we will deliver it to the school! We can't guarantee that we will have a size or color that will work, but can certainly check our stock and deliver coats to your student's Shoreline School District school.

Exciting news! The Lake City Library is offering more programs for children and families this winter!

As you may know, HIP provides free Afterschool Meals at the Lake City Library every Tuesday-Thursday for kids and their families. We provide these meals in tandem with the library's Homework Help program--so students can get tutoring and a meal in one sitting.

Until March 17th, the Lake City Library will also have the Kinder Art program (with Rec in the Streets) for kids aged 2-6 on Tuesdays, so they can play and learn while their older siblings study.

Until March 4th, they will be hosting the Middle School/High School Club before Homework Help starts on Wednesdays. This club will do arts and crafts, play games, and hold workshops about topics like the basics of handling money and cooking. HIP will be leading one of those workshops on February 4th!

We're excited about the new programs at the Lake City Branch of The Seattle Public Library and proud to continue partnering with them to bring food to our neighbors!
