Jennifer started with movement arts as a teenager and pursued a dance career for many years. She reconnected with yoga 20 years ago when she was expecting a child and could no longer take a strenuous contemporary dance class. Her dancing and yoga practice perfectly complemented each other and she never looked back. A graduate of the 200 hour training at Phinney Ridge Yoga with Christy Fisher and Julie Hsu, Jennifer has been teaching yoga for 11 years to adults and children. Her training has focused on adapting practices for students of all abilities. Jennifer enjoys the process of introducing students to new ways of moving. Borrowing from her years of experience with dance and choreography, Jennifer leads students in graceful transitions from pose to pose. She is interested in guiding students to become more aware of their connection to their bodies and through the practice of yoga, to find more joy and ease in themselves.
