When I was thinking about the Hawaiian Principles I wanted to share and talk about today I thought about the devastation and loss the people of Los Angeles have endured over the past week due to the wildfires. Right now we need to Kako’o and come together as one and work side by side to make their lives better. We all need to Kōkua, help and assist those in need and that are suffering. Got low back pain? It might be your psoas muscle that is causing it. The psoas is a hip flexor muscle that connects from your lumbar spine to the top of your femur. When it is overly tight it can create low back pain. Try this trick at home to help release your psoas. Wooden dowel with towel wrapped around the end. Lean into the muscle, hold for a few seconds and then release. You’ll be amazed at the results.
