On May 24th, I was involved in a traumatic Motorcycle Accident.
On the evening on May 24th, 2024, I was struck by an oncoming vehicle sending me over the handlebars of my 2007 Harley Davidson that my Father used to take me rides on when I was a little boy.
I am grateful to be alive, however the recovery process has been quite challenging. I am doing my absolute best to get back on my feet as soon as possible, and keep my mind active.
I am in the process of re-learning how to walk, and building strength back in my right leg. I am working on staying positive throughout this whole situation, however it is certainly not as easy as I thought it might be going into it. I am finally able to put a small amount of weight on my foot and am slowly but surely gaining more and more range of motion each day.
If you've read this far - I appreciate you endlessly and hope we all learn to not take the small things for granted although it is easy to do so. Life can change in an instant, so stay grateful for those who make you smile, and for those who make you happy to be alive.
