We LOVE hearing feedback from our patients, especially when they are noticing the progress that they are making following our their treatment sessions. If you have been in our clinic and experienced the benefits of our hands-on techniques, don’t hesitate to leave a review and tell your friends and family about us! The best compliment we can receive is a word-of-mouth referral from a current or former patient. Our goal is for everyone in the area to realize how good they can feel after a session at Cream City PT & Wellness. Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share two quick methods you can use to release the gluteus medius muscle. The gluteus medius is a lateral hip muscle that can cause a lot of hip and low back pain and also limit your mobility. We hope you find these helpful and if you feel like your gluteus medius needs more attention, our physical therapists and massage therapists would be happy to take a look at it. Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! We just wanted to take a moment to remind you all of the importance of pelvic alignment. Every single activity that you do throughout your day stems from your core and pelvis. When your pelvis is not level, you aren’t able recruit the surrounding muscles effectively which will lead to compensation up and down the kinetic chain. A misaligned pelvis also leads to poor posture which can result in neck and low back pain. If you are curious whether or not you have good pelvic alignment, you should definitely set up a session with one of our physical therapists. They would be more than happy to fix your pelvic alignment so that you are set up for success as we move into the warmer months ahead!

We have been getting a lot of questions from patients recently about dry needling. Despite it being around now for a little while, many people are still unfamiliar with the concept and potential benefits. Here are our 3 big takeaways about dry needling that we usually share with our patients: 1) Dry needling is performed using microfilament (very thin) needles which are inserted into trigger points (muscle knots). 2) Dry needling may cause some discomfort but most patients don’t find it significantly painful. 3) The main benefits of dry needling include reduced pain, increased blood flow, and improved mobility. If you are dealing with pain or limited mobility, this could be your sign to give dry needling a try. Follow the link in our bio to schedule a physical therapy session and experience the relief that dry needling can offer you!

Hold the stretch for at least 2 minutes and perform on both sides. Thanks again for tuning in to all of these videos. Let us know if you have any questions and have a great weekend!
