Deep Rest: Restorative yoga + Thai bodywork
Sat June 6
2p-4p

Our cozy, candlelit space is the backdrop for this deeply restful experience.

Val will guide you into restorative yoga - gentle, supported shapes you settle into, allowing the body to soften and the mind to quiet. While you rest, Jamie will move through the room offering Thai Bodywork, hands - on support to release tension, encourage ease, and invite the body into a more natural state of rest.

Come settle in, unwind, and receive.

Space is limited - reserve your spot. https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/event/spiritofthelakeyoga?k_class=748715&k_class_tab=17867

There’s a certain kind of ease and steadiness that begins to settle in when you join Niki on retreat at Big Raven Farm.

If you’re familiar with her teaching, you already know the space she creates - one that quietly opens for people to arrive as themselves. Her attention is not sharp or critical, but steady and attuned; the room shifts, and she shifts with it.

There’s no sense of performance in the room.
No pressure to be a certain way, to move a certain way -
just permission to show up as you are that day.

You’re not asked to share more than you want to.
You’re not put on the spot.
You can be in your own rhythm and still feel part of something.

Some days the practice has a gentle energy.
Other days it softens and slows.
There are always options - always space to choose.

Nothing feels forced.
Nothing feels like too much.

It’s the kind of place where you realize - without trying - that you’ve settled.

Where you don’t have to be “on” to belong.

That feeling carries through the weekend - porch mornings with quiet company, unhurried preparation for practice, and wide open land that gives everything a little more room to breathe.

If this feels like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, join us there September 17-20, 2026, you can find details here: https://www.nikiscarpa.com/big-raven-farm-retreat

Teacher. Therapist. Mom. Co-owner. Human in the practice, just like the rest of us.

Nicole brings a lot of heart into everything she does - her yoga classes, cacao ceremonies, therapy work, retreats. Not as something separate, just as part of who she is. If you’ve practiced with her, you’ve likely felt it.

Check out her latest blog post, and maybe even join her for class this week!

As the light of spring returns, so does the invitation to clear, soften, and begin again.

We tend to our homes this time of year - opening windows, letting things go, making space.
This practice offers the same, but inward.

Through breath and steady movement, we’ll gently move what’s been held…
stagnant energy, heaviness from a long winter, anything ready to shift.

A chance to reconnect with your own steady light -
and remember the shared warmth we carry together.

The practice isn’t all meant to be seen. Much of it is quiet, internal - just breath, just presence.

A steady gaze.
A moment of being with yourself.

This is where it really lives.

And you can meet it on the mat this week.

Same room.
Different bodies.
Different practices.

There’s no single way this is meant to look.

Some expressions are expansive.
Some are quiet.
All are strong in their own way.

There’s room for all of it here.

We’re so excited to welcome a familiar face into a new role at the studio.

Many of you already know Catalina—she’s been a part of our community as a student for the past 6+ months. Starting April 12th, she’ll be stepping into the studio as a teacher, offering a new weekly class:

Sunday Reset Slow Flow
Sundays | 4:30–5:30p | Begins April 12

Close the weekend with a deep exhale. This gentle, unhurried class weaves together breath, slow movement, and stillness to help you reset before the week begins.

We’ll start with grounding breath, ease into simple, mindful movement, and close with a cozy cool-down and meditation.

New to yoga? You’ll feel right at home here.
Been practicing for years? This is your space to slow down, soften, and settle in.
Come as you are—you’ll leave feeling clear, calm, and ready for the week ahead.

About Catalina:

Catalina’s path to yoga and mindful living didn’t begin on a mat—it began with a choice to come home to herself.

Before sobriety, she often felt disconnected from who she was. Self-care wasn’t yet something she knew how to access, and life moved through stress, emotional exhaustion, and disconnection.

Sobriety became a doorway into awareness. Through that journey, she began to understand how deeply wellbeing is tied to daily care and presence. Yoga entered slowly and gently—through breath, simple movement, and moments of stillness.

What she discovered was transformative.

Yoga brought stability, balance, and an inner peace she had never known before. Over time, it supported a deeper sense of grounding that now extends into her relationships, her work, and how she shows up in the world.

This is why she teaches.

Practice.
Sustain.
Transform.

There’s a place for you here.
Sometimes it just starts with putting your name on the list.
