This gem popped up and what a road it’s been! I decided to make a career change and become a midwife! From that first day in clinical with at to teaching nursing at and starting my own practice ! Pretty sure those green polos, white scrub pants and white coats are out now. Phew!

Menopause is a natural transition, yet so often women are made to feel like the symptoms are something they should 'fix.' Instead of focusing on blame, we need more education, support, and understanding. It's time to shift the conversation from shame to empowerment, and provide women with the tools they truly need to navigate this phase of life with confidence and care. 🩷

Today I had a follow up appointment with the first patient ever to come to Midlife Midwife MKE. She is feeling so much better- positive and capable. And I’m grateful that she took a chance on the menopause specialist in town!
