TLC is looking for compassionate employees to provide in-home Direct Caregiving for developmentally disabled adolescents and adult individuals.
As a Direct Caregiver you will provide various non-medical services, such as: assisting with meal preparation, grooming, bathing, toileting, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. These services are provided within group homes in and around the Show Low area.
We have full time, part time, on-call and weekend only shift’s available and will hire both drivers and non-drivers, and we are seeking both male and female candidates. Having previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not necessary, because we will train you within the first sixty days of employment.
Direct Caregiving duties may include:
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Grooming, bathing, and toileting
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Outings in the community with the client
• Taking to appointments
Job Requirements:
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old. (Required)
• Experience caring for a vulnerable individual (Preferred but not required)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check. (Required)
• Have a current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one within 60 days.
• Current driver’s license or state ID, social security card, or birth record. (Required)
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification. (Required within the first 60 days of being hired).
• Article 9 Certification. (Required to complete within 60 days of hire)
• Prevention and Support Certification. (Required within 60 days of hire)
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stoop, and bend comfortably.
• Must be comfortable assisting in bathing, dressing, and overall hygiene of clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, On-call, and Weekend only
Earn up to $13.85 per hour (depending on your shift) if you do not have any call offs each week
