Accord Hospice of the White Mountains is so honored to host our annual Lights of Remembrance Tree Lighting Ceremonies again this year. All are welcome to attend at the location of your choice.
On Friday, December 5th, we will host at both the Accord Hospice office, 5300 S. Sutter Dr. Bldg. C in Show Low, and Beehive Homes of Eager, 324 E. 1st St. in Eager.

Both events will take place from 4:45-6 pm with the lighting of the tree at 5:00 pm by a family that has been served by Accord Hospice. Along with the tree lighting, there will be beautiful music, a special message, and refreshments to follow. There will also be a time to acknowledge those loved ones and friends that you miss. The tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season in honor and memory of those we cherish.

It was our honor to help host the White Mountains Community Veteran Celebration this year. The opportunity to recognize those who have served our country is always a privilege and we appreciate all of the individuals and organizations who came out to support celebrate our Veterans!
Than you again to the Veterans who were present and those who were unable to attend. We continue to extend our gratitude on Veterans Day and throughout the year.

Along with a special ceremony that includes music and a brief message, the tree will be lit and remain so throughout the holiday season. Light refreshments will follow.

This is the story of David and his Grandfather...
My grandpa was bigger than life! He instilled in me – a love of family, music, and the great outdoors. In fact, it was because of him that I chose to work in wildlife conservation. So, when his health began to decline, I didn’t hesitate to step in as his caregiver. I also knew that I would find the support we all needed in Accord Hospice. The changes over the next three years were gradual. He stayed social at first – going to church and out to dinner. And even regularly visited the casino up until the last few months of his life. My Grandfather was able to live out his last years comfortably at home with my grandma by his side, and that is a testament to the care he received from the Accord Hospice Team. He passed in July, but his influence lingers – His journey with hospice impacted my next step in life – to become a nurse and continue to care for others.

Accord Hospice of the White Mountains recently hosted our 11th annual Camp SOAR. This year's "Quest to Be Brave" was a monumental success and we are in awe of the courage our campers demonstrate every day! Check out some of our fun moments from this special day...truly one to remember!
