Accord Hospice of the White Mountains recently hosted our 11th annual Camp SOAR. This year's "Quest to Be Brave" was a monumental success and we are in awe of the courage our campers demonstrate every day! Check out some of our fun moments from this special day...truly one to remember!

Accord Hospice of the White Mountains attended the annual Patriotic Piecers 911 ceremony on September 11th. This year 23 Veterans were honored. Two of our Accord Hospice volunteers were among them - Michele Williamson and Kyle Fox who both served in the United States Army. They are pictured here with our Community Programs & Services Specialist, Christy Milam. Thank you for your service to all those who were recognized with a special quilt this year.
We will never forget the significance of this day.

Registration for Camp SOAR is still open for those kids ages 5-16 who are coping with a loss. This year's theme - "Quest to Be Brave" will include a day filed with games, activities, crafts, and new friends!

Accord Hospice of the White Mountains is pleased to join in this weeklong celebration recognizing the role of assisted living in caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Appropriately, the theme this year is "Ageless Adventures," which highlights the continued offering of experiences that enhance the lives of those who reside at our Assisted Living Facilities.

Our 11th annual Camp SOAR is just around the corner...and you don't want to miss this "Quest to Be Brave!"
Camp SOAR is for kids ages 5-16 who are coping with loss and will take place on Saturday, September 13th from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm at Camp Grace. There will be games, activities, food, fun, and new friends! No cost to attend.

Sometimes someone just captures your heart and this is what happened when a young girl named Alaina stopped into our Accord Hospice of the White Mountains office.
Alaina is involved in 4H and raises many animals, including rabbits, chickens, and turkeys. She has won many awards, but she does this because she just loves animals.
Alaina recently showed her animals at the Apache County Fair and auctioned off her Tom turkey at the Apache County Small Stock auction. Long story short, Accord Hospice is proud to say...we were the winning bidder!
There is more to tell, but no one can tell Alaina's story as well as she can, so please see hers in the photos below.

Thank you to the folks at Juniper Ridge for inviting us to speak on Monday at Juniper Ridge Coffee & Donuts. We were pleased to tell this great group of people about end-of-life care and the privilege of serving our communities. Accord Hospice of the White Mountains welcomes any opportunity to help people understand hospice care, advance directives, and other topics related to end-of-life a little bit better. Our annual Camp SOAR, for kids ages 5-16 who are coping with a loss due to death, divorce, or distance is just around the corner on Saturday, September 13th from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm at Camp Grace.
This year's theme is "Quest to Be Brave" and will be filled with games, activities, crafts, fun and new friends!

Accord Hospice of the White Mountains was pleased to be invited to the National Night Out! Great turnout to this event to show support for Law Enforcement and First Responders! We were so happy to be there!

We are visiting our last stops for the 2025 Beach Party Tour on Friday, August 22nd and we invite you to join us!
From 10:30 am - 11:30 am we will be at Haven Health of Show Low and from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm you will find us at the Juniper Ridge Resort at their Grand Lodge in Show Low!
Come for the summertime fun and entertainment!
