Our hearts were touched during a recent visit to Pinecrest Mental Health Facility in Pineville, La., where the staff and residents came together for a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. 💕

Pinecrest is one of the last remaining state-funded mental health facilities in Louisiana and has been a cornerstone of care in our community for over a century. They provide a safe, uplifting environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering everything from therapy and education to fun, engaging activities that bring joy to their patients’ lives.

Our Alexandria team is proud to have been servicing Pinecrest for more than 30 years, and it’s always inspiring to see the dedication and compassion their team continues to show. From vocational training and therapeutic programs to community events like this walk, Pinecrest embodies what it means to care with heart. 💖

Growing, learning, and leading in cranial care! ✨

This week, two of our Snell’s practitioners attended Star Summit 2025 in Orlando, Florida. This global conference brought together over 150 experts from more than 15 countries to focus on the latest advancements in cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) a specialty that helps infants with conditions like plagiocephaly and other cranial asymmetries.

Through hands-on workshops, lectures, and collaboration with international specialists, our team gained new insights, skills, and connections that will directly benefit the families we serve here at home. 💙

We’re so proud of our practitioners for representing Snell’s and for their commitment to continuous learning and excellence in patient care. 👏

On Thursday, we had the honor of attending the 14th annual “Evening for Healers” gala at the Shreveport Convention Center, celebrating heroes, healing, and hope. This unforgettable night honored first responders, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals whose dedication saves lives every day, while also raising vital funds to support LSU Health Shreveport’s mission to teach, heal, and discover. Hearing patients’ powerful stories reminded us why we do what we do, and we’re grateful to stand alongside such an inspiring community. 💜🙌
