We're thrilled to continue celebrating National School Bus Safety Week by spotlighting Kimberlana and all she does for us!

Kimberlana has been part of our Aveanna team for just over a year as a bus driver and clinical assistant! She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate all the parents' transportation needs, and her bright smile and enthusiastic energy is contagious for everyone at the center.

"Being a PDHC bus driver means the world to me!" said Kimberlana. "The thing that keeps me inspired as a driver is the love I have for the children. My care for their well-being is why I show up to work and make sure they have a great time on the bus!"

Happy National School Bus Safety Week to Aveanna bus driver Genell!

Genell has been part of our Aveanna team for almost 11 years as a bus driver, clinical assistant, and administrative assistant. She is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed, and she's been a major asset to our company for years. Her deep compassion and joy for her role brings smiles to both our patients and our team!

Aveanna is honored to celebrate our incredible bus drivers this week for National School Bus Safety Week! Meet Lisa, one of our amazing bus drivers.

Lisa has been part of our Aveanna team as a driver and clinical assistant for nearly 9 years. Each day, she works tirelessly to ensure our little ones are transported safely to and from our center.

"I am inspired by the happy, smiling faces of these beautiful little ones that we care for on a daily basis," said Lisa. "If they can be happy, even with the challenges they endure, it reminds me that my troubles aren’t so bad. There is nothing that I can’t handle with a smile on my face as well!"

The third week of October is National School Bus Safety Week, a time set aside to promote bus safety. Here at Aveanna, it is also a time to show our gratitude for our PDHC Bus Drivers!

It is an honor when parents entrust their children to us. That honor is not lost on our bus drivers, who go above and beyond to keep the patients in their care safe. This small but mighty group works diligently to securely transport our patients to and from their homes, the PDHCs, and field trips.

Thank you to our Bus Drivers for your caution and dedication to keeping our medically fragile patients out of harm’s way while on the road. Because of you, children with complex medical needs can come to our centers and receive the care and learning opportunities they need to thrive with their peers.
