Reflections… oh how they come and go.
The bad thoughts tend to stay longer than the good ones—but they don’t tell the whole story.

January is a time to look at how far we’ve come.
Write down 5 good things you’ve done for anyone.
Small things matter. Growth counts.

💚 How is everyone doing after New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day?
Take a moment to check in with yourself. The holidays can bring relief, grief, hope, exhaustion—or all of it at once.

✨ We’d love for you to share:
• One goal or resolution you’re setting for yourself this year
• How you plan to work toward it (one small, realistic step is enough)

This isn’t about perfection or grand promises. It’s about intention, honesty, and showing up one day at a time.

At Oakwood, we believe change happens through:
• Daily accountability
• Asking for help
• Consistency over intensity
• Grace for ourselves and others

Your goal might be:
• Staying sober today
• Finding or keeping employment
• Improving your attitude or reactions
• Rebuilding trust
• Taking better care of your mental, physical, or spiritual health
Whatever it is—your story matters, and your effort matters. Let’s encourage one another and move forward together. 🌱

Seasonal depression can be heavy.
Whether you’re in withdrawal, going through something hard, struggling with the holidays, or missing people you love—you’re not alone.
There is support. Sponsors. Counseling. Prayer. Community.
Reach out. Don’t isolate. You matter, and what you’re feeling is real.
This season will pass. Stay connected. Stay hopeful. 🤍
