🌻 September is National Recovery Month & Su***de Prevention Awareness Month 🌻
These two go hand-in-hand. If you’re not taking care of your recovery, your mental health can suffer — and if your mental health suffers, your recovery is at risk.
Do not be ashamed or afraid. Those feelings only keep you tied up in your head. There are so many resources available, and people who truly understand. Together, we can make recovery happen.
✨ There are treatment centers.
✨ There are recovery homes.
✨ There are friends and communities ready to walk beside you.
If you’ve relapsed, it’s only a minor setback. It does not define you or your mental health. Don’t let it spiral into something deeper. Pick yourself up, reach out, and know that hope and healing are still possible.
🌟 If you’re struggling, remember:
📞 Call a friend.
📞 Call 988 for immediate support.
📞 Call Oakwood Home for Women.
🏡 Seek treatment.
🏡 Seek sober living.
💛 Recovery is about progress, not perfection. Take care of your spirit, your mind, and your recovery — your life matters.
Never divided. Always supported.
